Whoa. I started reading and soon thought "Promising start," and rapidly moved on to "Excellent work!"
Garrus seems perfectly in-character; the rest of the family fits with what little we've heard of them while showing more personality. I really liked Savian reviewing the files; his reactions show him as a caring if imperfect father. I'm curious if the story will continue to explore the family dynamics, and I'm really looking forward to more.
