I must say, I ADORE this. I love the look into Svetlana’s life post-Bangkok and after Anatoly. Is your Svetlana based off Kerry Ellis from the 2008 Chess concert? I can totally picture her as your Svetlana – also because of the title reference to Wicked, because Kerry Ellis is a VERY famous Elphaba. Anyway, sorry for my rambling. I absolutely love this, and I hope you write more Chess fanfics!
