![]() ![]() This is such a fabulous story! Had me on tue edge at all times. Loved your characters, and jus the overall plot. Keep up the good work ! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this story! You have captured the essence and the characters wonderfully. You've described Hermione's feelings and make my chest constrict when she saw Severus stunned in the chamber. The way you word their dialogue, I can actually hear them saying the words which like... is totally wicked. Usually I l never finish reading a story this fast in my life and it only took 2 days. Thank you for writing this amazing story. Please continue to write more HP stories... :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story is just absolutely brilliant. I loved how you portrayed Severus as a character: he still remained the closed, snark, sarcastic Potions Master, yet had moments of openness with Hermione. The character development for both Hermione and Severus was fantastic: Hermione matured from a young adult to a mature woman and Severus changed from his detached, hidden self to someone who takes more risks and lets his guard down, whilst still holding on to his caustic manner. What I was most impressed by, I suppose, was Harry. His portrayal was absolutely brilliant. I always find a little unrealistic that Harry would be untouched by the death and darkness around him and I loved how you challenged the black and white world of Harry Potter and had him toeing that line. Sometimes authors go overboard with a darker Harry but I liked how you dealt with it. It was great to read. In the last two chapters, I love how Dumbledore was humanised as well, from someone who is always kept on a pedestal to a normal human being with emotions and weaknesses. I have to say, the chapter in which Severus and Hermione simply talk was brilliant. Even with little-to-no descriptions, their conversations were brilliant. It was a great and powerful way to depict the start of their relationship. All in all, I absolutely loved this story. It was a pleasure to read and now, definitely one of my favourites. Thank you for posting it! Kay |
![]() ![]() i loved your story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sheesh why does everyone keep killing Sirius? Good read so far thanks for sharing it |
![]() ![]() ![]() *Wipes tears* beautiful story, and very well written. Defiantly a favourite. I'd love to see some more long fics from you. |
![]() ![]() This was such a beautiful story! So sad in places but I feel it had just the right amount of plot and romance. Truly, an amazing story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Not sure if the author of this story is still around, but it was such a beautiful story I have to comment anyway. First, the writing in this is absolutely fantastic, really clean and professional. The characterizations are great too. This is one of the best interpretations of Hermione I've ever read. What really stands out in this, though, is the mature perspective of the story, and the author's willingness to have things work out believably instead of the way we might wish for them to. There's a wisdom about relationships in this piece that many other stories lack. I found myself nodding at some of the later chapters, thinking "yes, that's exactly how it really works and feels". Yes, this story might make you cry. It's not a happy story in a lot of ways. But I'm definitely not sorry I read it, and I doubt anyone else will be either. It's beautiful. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I know I have most likely read this story some time ago, but, its been such a long while so I can't recall anything, so its pretty much the same as finding a new story ;) Anyway, I got tears in my eyes at the end of this chapter... :/ poor harry! I really love the way you portray Snape, for there are so many fanfictions where Snape isn't portrayed properly, and even though the story seems really good, I can't continue because Snape just ISN'T Snape. He lacks his special... spark shall I say! And, now I shall continue reading! |
![]() ![]() Great story, excellent ending, beautiful writing. I just started reading H/S stories by going through people's favs. I'm happy you've kept this story on this site. |
![]() ![]() ![]() why did you do that?! I'm crushed! utterly depressed. too much so to read the epilogue right now. I can see from the first paragraph that this continues some considerable time later, and that thought just kills me. oh, fanfiction! whyyyyyyy |
![]() ![]() ![]() totally didn't see this dramatic twist coming, though I suppose I should've anticipated that there'd be more trouble ahead than what I assumed would be difficulties adjusting to life back at Hogwarts for the remaining chapters. oh, why is it never easy for these two? I'm still loving every minute of it; I knew this would be a true favorite before I was halfway through, which is a rare thing for me. fantastic story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() this story is SO. MUCH. FUN. |
![]() ![]() Two words: wizard angst. |
