|Reviews for The Academic Life Of Brooklyn Masefield|
| indraniFOREVER chapter 5 . 8/4/2014
dude, you're going hard on that poor guy... he loves nature so much, so why don't you get him-
Shakespearean sonnets (especially 'Shall I compare thee to the summer's day')
William Wordsworth (I think they will get along pretty well... for they are alike in some ways)
maybe John Keats too (I love Ode to Autumn and Grecian Urn)
and it would be nice to take a break from biology and appreciate nature for once in a while...
and cool story...
and FYI I am a newbie in English major and we do have to study Darwin... although not as a scientific theory but as a literature, but it is fun all the way...
give him a bit of Byron and Shelly too with the bits of John Milton... ooh I think He would love paradise lost though...
don't bother if I am just messing around but I remember you said on the summery about English too and FYI it's my fav subject... so i am a little enthusiastic about seeing Brooklyn in the English class... suspecting that he would drool in there too, but it's worth a hope and try...
| u know who again chapter 5 . 4/3/2014
finally is read this too :D
i loved the chapter! Amazingly written! I know this was played more than a year ago. ;(
Miss those days! I remember attending one such class with u once ;)
| gizmo5225 chapter 5 . 3/20/2014
I feel like that in math some days. XD I love it!
| gizmo5225 chapter 4 . 1/14/2014
PLEASE continue, I love this fic and Brooklyn is so funny when he studies (or attempts to)! Lol
| you kno who chapter 4 . 1/12/2014
I could make out frm d very first line that this chapter was written long back...a nice read down d memory lane...thru all those awful chapters...specially biomolecules!;(
I am happy that this time is ovr! I may hv to study bit of it tho...but not before a year or two!
| AnnetteS chapter 3 . 8/31/2013
all the chapters so far are great. i like this story, write more
| AquilaTempestas chapter 3 . 10/27/2012
That was certainly a lot shorter than expected, but no complaints on my side.
Ha ha, his good mood certainly didn't last long. Good ol' Physics, there to ruin his day. Poor Brooklyn... not.
Aw look, he's procrastinating! ["Next time,"]
Looking forward to the next one!
| AquilaTempestas chapter 2 . 10/27/2012
Okay, time to catch up with reviews and believe me, it's a very long list of over 100 chapters...
Anyways, fortunately, these chapters are short and sweet.
That chapter title alone sounds sickening.
Happy to see Mystel as Brooklyn's best friend, glad he got a mention : )
Ha ha, Brooklyn copying from Mystel? [Two-he could just copy the rest from Mystel.] Ha ha!
| Omegaxis1 chapter 3 . 10/14/2012
LOL, he just came back from relaxing, sees a textbook, then leaves to relax some more. Hilarious. This story might not any actual plot, but there's no doubt that the story is great with the horrors of learning, especially with a laid back, yet sometimes psychotic, Brooklyn.
| gizmo5225 chapter 3 . 10/14/2012
Hehehe. I laughed at this. I love the drabbles! It's the choice of grubby and confusing Physics- like my brother has- or the gorgeous sunny day.
Pretty simple choice!
Amazing job, I loves it!
| Susan Styles chapter 3 . 10/13/2012
Very true... A good weather tempts one to leave the books apart! That reminds me, v Hav to do q11-20 today ( light)...
Seeing so many updates from u inspires me to do the same :)
| mimi 007 chapter 2 . 9/2/2012
Until now I like the idea but I have a question: Will there come a plot into this or will it just be small drabbles about different classes? I would be very nice to see that if you can overcome it with your apparent 'great amount of schoolwork'. And I love the fact of him skipping everything and getting distracted - so very Brooklyn.
| Songstress on the Starry Lake chapter 2 . 8/11/2012
I'd like to see Brooklyn try Fourier Expansions or...)
On a side note, he made me feel glad my professors are not my arch enemies.
| Delirium1015 chapter 2 . 8/11/2012
Physics next please!
| Omegaxis1 chapter 2 . 8/11/2012
Wow, the way you describe the math questions is very impressive.
I thought that Garland was Brooklyn's best friend? Oh well.
I like how in the end, Brooklyn decided to just copy off Mystel. Also, I know how some people like to use big and complex methods to solve equations, but really, it's all in the basics. Every complex skill in math and others even, are just extensions on the basics. So master the basics, and you can easily master the rest.
So what's next, Biology? Or Chemistry?
