| lmill123 chapter 9 . 3/5
Well, it didn't take long for Abby to turn things around to be about her when she learned the news and I'm surprised that Vance didn't catch on. Once she heard that Tony might not be able to speak again she bypassed all her concern about Tony and went directly to how it affected her. Gibbs and Tony will never forgive her. Tony's career will end and he will blame me. It has always seemed that she has always managed to turn things around so that everyone focuses on her.
| lmill123 chapter 7 . 3/5
If people really paid attention to the show then they would know that Abby is the one that is really a attention seeking whore. Wheather it's Gibbs, or anyone else on the team. When she doesn't get it she brings on the tears or throws a tantrum. As for Tony, if he is in a lot of pain or has a serious injury he aways brushes it off as if it's nothing. While with a papercut he makes a big deal about it. And Gibbs and Ducky are very much aware of that fact. It's really the only time they are 100 percent sure that Tony is alright.

Enjoyable story. Abby doing that to Tony was sad.

A lovely story.

The part that bothered me the most about Abby wasn't her malicious (and idiotic) accusations initially, it was her pushing herself on Tony when he was helpless in the hospital recovering from brain surgery. And her reason for being there was to be forgiven, so she wouldn't be persona non grata at NCIS any longer. How utterly selfish could she be?!
Overall I liked your story. Abby's character in the series drives me a little nuts sometimes. She's very odd, and runs the lab like no lab I've seen...it's a wonder her work and results haven't been questioned more. Her slapping that 'trainee' sticker on Tony during Gibbs' long siesta in Mexico made me have a different opinion of her than I had initially. Made me think she's a bit self-involved, and obviously enamored with Gibbs. In that sense this story seems quite feasible.
Thank you for an enjoyable read.

Excellent story. I agree the ending was just right - forgiveness with reservations. I think we have all done that in our lives. Thank you for the wonderful story!

Geez, 17 versions of this chapter? You must be really sick of reading it, let alone writing it. It was, however, a lovely wrap up to the story, and considering who was involved, quite realistic. Tony will always try to find a way to forgive those who hurt him... unfortunately, I believe that is a by product of his upbringing. In this case, since he had so much support, he was able to forgive Abby, yet still manage to keep enough emotional distance to protect himself from possible future hurts, both intentional and unintentional.
Thank you for the final chapter and will be looking forward to more of 'Eye Of The Beholder.'

I'm so used to see Tony being the darling of all that when I get to read a story I want to see something story is good, I guarantee you that a lot of people loved but at least here I like a bit of situations different. sorry if I did not understand me, sorry for the spelling I'm using the translator Googlo Brazilian kisses

A very fitting ending to a great story. Tony is healing, but he's not completely back to where he was and might never be, Gibbs will most likely stay overprotective for a while and while they won't shut Abby completely out, they won't let her completely in either. I like that he isn't willing to go back to the way they were, the hurt runs to deep for that. Excellent job!

A very very very fitting ending to this part of the story... healing but not healed, and changed... never the same again but something different and in some places better. Well done.

I loved your ending to this story. I couldn't see Tony totally cutting Abby out of his life but allowing her in by small doses seems true to Tony's character. Looking forward to more stories from you.

I love it. A great ending. So great. And yes I agree with you that Abby should not get away that easy. I like what you did.
Thank you for sharing it. :D
