This is help for readers who are not loving the story and struggling on how much more time reading to decide to stop or keep hoping it will be entertaining enough or improve...

I was finding Harry a bit flippant cartoonish.
Fleur is beyond forward early.
I READ, then went to skimming ... reaching potions paired with Tracy/Daphne & Colon interrupts for wand waving.

Several chapters deep, seems(uber skimming) that the MYSTERY HARRY'S big SECRET, continues to be an ever unrevealed tease...chapter after chapter.

Skim to using "find tool", looking for "Fleur"[for uber skim & skip mode], who unless she appears in scenes I missed, by her name not on the page. After nearly ripping Harry's clothes off at story beginning, seems very little happens for 8 or 9 chapters of less heated interaction.

No spoiler, just road sign for readers, see chap 10 for "the big secret" REVEAL, which for me, was a gigantic face palm of a trope.

2 or so hours spent, read a bit then skim then find-Fleur-in-page for super skim mode.
Caught skim glimpse, Harry starts school newspaper, and there's a rebellion against Dumbledore trope.

Chap 41 at this time won't be spoiler, but will fyi regarding the story hiatus or abandoned and author's mental state and hardships.

Decided to leave mobile mode, as it gets truncated summaries and other info...such as now seeing story actually completed in desktop view's summary.

Perhaps chap 40(I didn't even look) might be useful if a reader sampling few chapters is on the bubble of going thru a long slog trek or deciding not to continue.
Ok, glanced at prior chaps before final (being author note), and there's a sequel for those liking to read the story to the end.

For the most part some authors managed to balance the pressures of daily life with the duties of an author. But more often than not we see great authors like you burning out and bowing out gracefully. You've been at this for a long time and you have written a lot of great stories, I can only hope that if you decide to offer up the stories the successors will do a good job writing the remaining chapter.

Hello Night, I have been a long time reader of yours, and I would like to apologize to you. I generally do not comment on fanfiction mainly because I am no word smith who can come up with a multitude of witty ways of saying "Nice chapter."
I would also like to thank you for all the work you have put in over the years. If you decide to never post again, I understand, but please do not take the long walk off a short pier.

uuuuhhh... are you okay? ive always like this story and was very surprised to see an update to it, but this has me kind of concerned

among the top 30? A year of less than 50-60 is not a very good number, it is not as if each year there were 200 students.

And not only that, but Harry doesn't look anything like Harry... and how is he going to make his own wand if no one knows how they are made? And where does he get the knowledge for blood runes? or why does he wear his hair?

The story doesn't make sense and if Harry ends up dominating Fleur, the story can go to hell.

And not only does he already have access to his inheritance, but he already knows why they put his name in the chalice... God, Harry didn't even have the script of the movie or the novel under the pillow and he also suspects Moddy... Come on, how ridiculous are you going to make Harry?

Seriously, instead of calling fleur succubus, you call her a mermaid and she-devil? I don't know, I think succubus looks better
