|Reviews for The Corn Field|
| InsideOutlaw chapter 1 . 8/5/2012
I, too, like the expanded version. I could certainly picture a sullen Heyes going about his chores and anxious to be off working on a plan. Then the two of them being so intent on the project that they are unaware of the consequences until it's too late. Not too different from adulthood for them, huh?. :)

I like the backstory and how you filled this out. Nicely done, and thanks. :-)
| Jessie May Stone chapter 1 . 7/26/2012
this would have been really interesting if Heyes had a sister that kept reminding him that the corn field was bone dry. i really liked this one, probably the best one you've written so far.

I really like the extended version. Good job.

Fun extension. Little boys sure can get up to a lot of trouble can't they-especially when its a 'Hannibal Heyes' plan! Loved Jed's comment about who looked at a cows udder and thought to drink what came out of it.
