Reviews for In Which Neither Coulson nor Sherlock are Dead |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() Well, we all know John Watson is a bit of a ladies' man. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yes! Sequal! This is a beautiful wonderful crossover and I want to see Tony and Sherlock sniping at each other, this was a wonderful fic. |
![]() ![]() I really like this crossover. What should be the ship name for John and Hill? Jill? Jaria? Whatevs, it's a thing now. And actually, jam and jelly are two different things in the US of A, and you can get both at your local Walmart. What am I saying, you can get EVERYTHING at Walmart. Walmart is a magical place. And I don't think I've ever heard any American refer to the US as the states. Like, ever. I don't know why, the rest of the world does. Maybe it's the same reason we don't use the metric system. Cuz 'MURICA. Anywho, keep on truckin' m'dear. Come visit Walmart someday. (The power of Walmart compels you) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Although it was a tiny bit slow for a while there until Coulson I loved it! I would love to read more scenes in the Tower like the sandwich incident. Great story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() My thanks on both an impressive fakeout and one of the best rants I've ever seen. |
![]() ![]() Tea Wars were great! Also, I like the Bruce-John meeting, and the hint about Betty. And, you know, the whole Bruce-John interaction |
![]() ![]() SO not a disappointment! This was amazing! Especially the parts where: ~John pulls his gun ~Tony doesn't really react ~Tony asks who John is ~then doesn't recognize him ~AND, John pulling in 'the big guns' to defend his territory. So far, John has dealt with the hazing very well. I'm sick to my stomach with excitement, looking forward to someone pushing his buttons too hard. Kind of like Natashalie did at the end of sparring, but with emotions instead of muscles and bone. (By the way, the shoulder woundleg wound thing makes a lot of sense - is it canon?) Also (and I know this belongs to the last chapter, but), I really like that the 'precautions' SHIELD was taking with the 'Tablet of Prophesied Doom" didn't work AT ALL. |
![]() ![]() quote of the chapter 'It took a little over twenty minutes to get from the airport to SHIELD HQ, though it would probably have taken a lot longer if Barton had paid attention to any traffic laws ever. ' I really liked the way John reacted to the teacream, and the way he reacted to SHIELD's actions, and Maria Hill's stubborn "the word of SHIELD is law" thing. "Don't be late" is what Peggy told Steve as her last lines in 'The First Avenger' Interesting coincidence! What John did with Maria just now is BBC canon, if what I've heard about him flirting with Anthea in the first episode is true. Also, I believe that a sign of realistic characters is their habit to get away from their authors. Others may disagree. |
![]() ![]() Definitely good. In fact, so far - awesome! I really like the way that John has Mycroft take over the phone call at the beginning, then follows up by pointing out the bit about publicity (even though I didn't catch any references), Marvel(Comics) America versus (I'm not sure which) Great Britain. And - the bit about dysfunctional Avengers. Yes... So far, so tantalizing. (Yes I am aware that this is a rather late review encouragement-wise, but when I really enjoy a story, I try to produce feed-back) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Brilliant |
![]() ![]() ![]() Bloody brilliant. The British "stiff up lip" was well represented here. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my god i love this so much already. Youve made me question so much about the avengers covertness. Also, i absolutely love how you added that bit in about the Big Ben and the other Doctor Who references. |
![]() ![]() That was great fun! |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's nice that you finished this fic. But yeah. That last chapter was not that great. The rest was brilliant though which makes up for it. John fits in scarily well with the avengers. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love multi crossovers like this where the different verses meld together practically seamlessly. I look forward to the ride :) |
