| WarWizard1994 chapter 1 . 10/10/2013
It's sad that Eddie Willers dies in the middle of nowhere; he tried so hard to keep Taggart Transcontinental afloat despite the fascist controls by the looters, but the looters wore him down in the end. Such a fate is always depressing, but I guess Rand had to use Eddie's fate to illustrate how trying to live as a producer in a looter's world is impossible and suicidal.
Nevertheless, I appreciate that you made Eddie's final moments peaceful - dreaming of the place where he belonged. Well done.

After I finished the book I was very upset by Eddies fate , now I understand why Ayn Rand decided to do what she did...

This was wonderfully written. Poor, Poor Eddie at least you were able to make his last moments into something happy. He died in his sleep dreaming of Atlantis.
