While I sympathize with your want to not rehash canon events, I think you are leaning a bit too far in the other direction- your pacing is incredibly breakneck the point where we don't really get a sense of progress or passing time- major events happen so fast that this almost reads more as a highlight reel than a consistent narrative. In cutting out filler, I think you may have gone a little too far into the meat and are throwing out the baby with the bathwater by having absolutely no downtime between major events.

Well, this was certainly a development. A quick not though: Its going way to quickly.
The story is becoming one major event after another and though I know you don't want to rewrite what happened in canon DBZ, it helps slow things down and creates a nostalgic feel.

Interesting development, making the future traveler in this story a woman. Another change from canon and I was slightly suprised by her quick annihilation of Mecha Cooler and King Cold. You explained later in the chapter though that when she turns into a Super Saiyan she loses control so that makes understandable why she didn't really "play" around with them like Trunks did in canon. My theory is that she is Raditz and Launch's daughter. She would still have blueish/purplish hair and it would explain her lack of mental stability.

As for your similarities to Bringer of Death, it happens. You get something stuck in your head and if you were profundly influncened by this story than it makes since that you would unconsciously put similar things in your story to theirs. As long as you acknowledge, it's not really a big deal. Also, I saw something about where someone was questioning how Raditz was able to beat Cooler when he was only 90% of Cooler's power. I personally see no problem with this as you can see throughout Dragon Ball people around 80% at least getting good hits on their opponent and causing serious damage. Therefore, someone that is 90% of another fighter can fight fairly descently against their opponent and keep up with and possibly defeat the stronger opponent, especially when they stay stronger while the opponent wears down. There argument was that against Dodoria, Vegeta was able to dominate him when Dodoria was around 90% of his power. This can easily be explained, because Dodoria was one of the most unskilled fighters to ever make an appearace in the anime/manga. Vegeta, being a much more skilled fighter, was able to easily take advantage of Dodoria's clumsy attacks and beat him easily.

Well, I started reading this story only two days ago, and I must say, I am quite hooked. One of the few things able to keep me occupied in this present time. I can't wait for more.
Also: Raditz and Launch's Kid. Her Normal State Lunch, Super Saiyan Launch. (I could still be VERY wrong, but if I am right, nice touch guys.)

One thing about the new chapter... In my opinion you should have ended with the ssj girl telling goku who she is instead of doing the cliffhanger like this.
Anyway i know who she is anyway.
Still think id have preferred the other possibility on who returns to this timeline.

Awesome chapter! By far one of my favorites. I loved the noticeable difference in the dynamic between Cooler and Cold and Frieza and Cold. Clearly, Cooler isn't quite as respectful and his ambitions get on Cold's nerves. His father isn't near as fond of him as he was of Frieza, which fits perfectly with what canon DBZ tells us about the family. I am curious if Cold knew that Cooler had killed his favorite son, but I'm sure it's moot at this point. Great dialogue as well.

Also, to address the aforementioned note regarding BoD and BTtL similarities from last chapter. There are no hard feelings from me, and I appreciate your kind apology and humility! I fully support your story and I love where it's going.

Regarding the unknown female from the future...pure awesome. It's something we've all probably wondered before, what if Trunks had been a girl, but you actually brought the character to life. I already feel a connection to the character and can't wait to find out more about her.

I did have some objections to whether or not Raditz would have been able to defeat Cooler last chapter, though. First off, their power levels were the same ratio as Vegeta was to Dodoria when they fought and Vegeta effortlessly dominated. Raditz was around 90% of Coolers power, just as Dodoria was around 90% of Vegeta's, yet the gap seemed insurmountable in the case of the latter. In Bringer of Death, SSJ Vegeta was 97% of Cooler's power and was thus able to bridge the gap with his superior skill and planning. However, in the case of Raditz, who was never known for his exceptional skills in battle, I feel that it is very unlikely he would win. You wrote the fight in such a way as to present his victory by determination alone, however, I find this to be a very unrealistic outcome. Consider that when SSJ Vegeta later fought King Cold's 3rd form he was at 94% of Cold's power, yet the frost demon was able to handle him with relative ease-in part due to Cold's fighting abilities being more advanced than Cooler's but I think the point is made. This wouldn't have been a problem if you had Davidstarlingm as your physics/mathematician/power level expert/editor though. ;P

Alright, still, this chapter was great. Fun interaction to read and you wrote a good amount of mystery in it and left me wanting more. Good job!

I was first thinking that it was Zarbon and Bulma's daughter, but her becoming a Super Saiyan rules that out of the equation. The other two explanations would be Goku/Bulma(No.) and Gohan/Bulma.(HELL NO!) I'm curious about who this character is.

Raditz has cemented himself as the coolest saiyan in my mind next to Bardock because of this chapter. That kamehameha and the dialogue accompanying it was just too damn cool. It reminded me of Bardock's last stand against Frieza, except... You know, Raditz doesn't get immediately obliterated for his defiance.

So did Goku learn the Kaioken while he was dead? I feel that if he had it in his battle against Cooler's 4th form, he could've taken him out with a 20x Kamehameha.

Is Raditz going to train on planet Yardrat to learn the Instant Transmission technique? I'm curious to see the reunion between them. And Vegeta, who remains a mystery for now.

keep going as far and as long as you want, your story is amazing and if launch and raditz end up together you are just awesome

cooler and ssj raditz are closer in power then goku and frieza where (150 and 120) with coolers more brute power showing in the fight.

now that goku has died will he (finaly) get the training by king kai or will he be revived before that.

Nice ending to the Namek Saga. It was enjoyable to read throughout and I can't wait to see what you do with several of the characters who you have placed on Earth, such as Nail and Zarbon and see how you use them coming along in the series. Also, I hope you don't end up having Piccolo and Nail fusing. I like how you have Piccolo being more evil and the anti-hero of this story and I liked how you had him in the beginning of the story so I hope that you keep him like that. Can't wait to see what you during the three years until the Android Saga.

Oh, god... Now we have to imagine Super Saiyan 3 Raditz with his 20-foot-long hair...

I see what you did there. Keeping Nail on earth for a possible fusion between the two when the androids come along or to help with 'Purify' some of Piccolo's inner darkness. And Zarbon reading a book upside down, is that some kind of training or just a weird quirk of his? Raditz will learn Instant Transmission on Yardrat or possible a different technique entirely on a completely different planet.

Great chapter to wrap up the Namek saga. I wonder who the "heavy hitters" are that Piccolo did his best to avoid. Do you plan on elaborating on who and/what they are? Also, do you plan on having Zarbon train? He seems to be growing accustomed to Earth quite well.
