I'm curious if you can address the issue of why Raditz came to get Goku in the first place. Didn't they "need" his help to attack a planet of particularly powerful fighters. So now, seeing how strong Raditz and Kakarott have become, Vegeta might change his mind. He would realize that civil disputes among the Saiyans aren't very pragmatic when there are only four left alive. Sure he thinks that by getting the dragonballs he could wish for immortality, but he must know that his chances of getting what he wants are much higher if he cooperates with everyone. Surely Vegeta is thinking ahead to Frieza already, knowing that he will need help if he ever decided to rebel. In canon, Vegeta was angry and emotional because he was surpassed by a low class, but so far he clearly remains the strongest in BTtL. That may allow him to use better foresight in this situation, leading to some sort of team up or compromise. Maybe they all go back to Freiza base 79 and Vegeta and Oniya hit it off and everybody lives happily ever after (LOL). Or maybe that's completely wrong. Maybe Tien comes back even stronger than canon Goku (doubtful, though surely with Kaioken he could match Raditz now).

Wow great story, just a question, how is everyone going to find out about gohan's supperior power level if raditz doesn't want to use his scouter? apparently sensing it failed for the first 4 years of his life.

So far this is my favorite of the Fanfictions outside of DBM. I would have to say that it doesn't make sense that Goku wouldn't have a reason to train with the others. He still has more to Learn, Kami even said Popo handled most of Goku's training to fight Piccolo. And when they trained for the Saiyans they graduated stronger then Goku... so they have much to learn by training there. But s'all good.

This story kinda reminds me of a fan fiction I'm reading called True Saiyans where goku turns super saiyan as a child as far as raditz staying to train with goku in preparation to fight vegeta and nappa. I'd love to see where this story goes. Please keep it up!

Wow, great fanfic so far! I really like the whole "What if event X had played out just a little different" thing (one of the reasons i like DBM). So far, you seem to stick to the way that DB has often used to redeem villians, but it would be cool to see a change in that formula (like Raditz siding with the Saiyans again at some point, Piccolo staying more evil...) Id also appreciate to see more team-based fights like Surviving Z-Fighters vs. Vegeta early on in DBZ and you seem to go that route, so please continue it!

How many of the Fillers will you consider canon? What about Cooler for example?

Do you believe that the human Z-Fighters could achieve power levels above 1 millions (without Kaiou-Ken)? And will they do that in your Fic?

Nice ide for a story. I just have a question, why are the two main fliters for characters are Piccolo and Raditz? Does it mean they will focus on both of them MAJORLY or what

Things are moving rapidly. I'm very curious as to how strong everyone will be able to become in the year's time. Also, IF piccolo decides or is coerced into joining the Z fighters in the upcoming battle, I don't imagine Raditz would be too happy about it. It will be tense the next time those two meet. Good job with the dialogue. It always makes things more believable when I can read the dialogue each character's voice.

I'm 4 chapters deep and already hooked! I'm relieved that Tien isn't being written off. Can't wait to read about how they'll go about trying to recruit Piccolo. Do you have any plans whatsoever to keep Nappa around? I think if Vegeta had spared him in canon he would have grown into a deep character later on during the events on Namek. I eagerly await the next update!

Looks like the first arc (season?) of this story has come to an end! I have to say, this was not the way I expected the story to go, but I like what I have seen so far. It will be interesting the see a story with Piccolo so strong, Tien meeting King Kai first, and Raditz being redeemed all wrapped in one story in a believable way. So far very good story telling and it is nice to see characters that were tossed aside getting some time in the spotlight. I am very interested to see how this story is going to go and I am sure the fight against Vegeta and Nappa will be far more interesting with Raditz with the Z-Fighters, Piccolo so powerful, and Tien with King Kai's training. It seems like Goku will be one of the weaker characters by that point! Whatever happens I look forward to the next installment and I hope you have a great holiday!
