One of the most bizarre and at the same time entertaining tales I've read.

Not sure whether to thank you for this tale or go out and get blind drunk in its memory.

Well done?

CMVreud chapter 6 . 10/13/2016
Lose marbles? We're talking about the Wizarding World here, no? How can they lose something they never had in the beginning.
Also, Ha-Carrow building his own Combat-Servitor? Genius.

Not sure why I'm reviewing this since it's so old, but I wanted to leave my thoughts.

So far, I've enjoyed the story for the most part. There's some grammar mistakes, but in general it's well written and fun to read. That said, quite a bit of my enjoyment is gone thanks to the conflict. To be completely blunt, this is one of the most contrived conflicts I've ever seen in a story.

You say you are making the setting darker by making Voldemort more dangerous, but you really haven't. The only reason this "threat" is still around in the story is because Harry allows it. It should have ended the moment he found the basilisk (I refuse to believe that someone with literally hundreds of years of experience would make such a retarded mistake, all while knowing about the Basilisk's eyes). It should have ended the moment he realized it was Ginny being controlled. It should have ended when he set up the massive surveillance system. None of her plans should have worked because she was being watched all the time (and don't even try to say she wasn't, because he had eyes everywhere and knew it was her to begin with). He should have found the chamber the moment he saw the Basilisk come out of that bathroom.

So yes, the entire conflict in this story is driving me mad. If there wasn't only one or two chapters left, then I would have dropped this the moment I realized how contrived the plot was. Which sucks because like I said the rest is very enjoyable to read. It feels like you forgot what the main focus of the story was meant to be. It should have been him gaining political power and his interactions with the other characters. The moment you pretended that Voldemort could ever hope to match him just for the sake of forced conflict you just lost the most interesting part of the story.

Ahh, dark is too mild, eh Albus? You need a new adjective to describe Carrow. Let's call him... grimdark!
Notsae chapter 10 . 7/1/2016
Car row has been touched by the Emperor far more the Ginerva surly that must have some benefits.
