![]() ![]() ![]() tremendous fun thankyou. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It would be interesting to see how Carrow will react when he finally finds out the God Emperor's actual opinion of him. :) This was very well written. A fast, fun, funny read. I now turn to the sequels. |
![]() ![]() It's an excellent read but you describe a very disturbing future. Poor super Harry. Thank you for continuing the series, I'm wondering what your final chapter on mister Carrow will be. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Could Not Stop Laughing! This was one of he most enjoyable reads i have had in a long while. Thank you for this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I thought this would be really bad. I'm glad it's not, it's actually quite good. |
![]() ![]() ![]() An interesting story so far. About the Emperor's message... Did he just prank Carrow? |
![]() ![]() ![]() When I read some depressing Harry Potter fanfic where Harry is angsty and abused, I always know that somewhere there is the God-Emperor and his humble servant - Inquisitor Carrow, who would bring the Light of the Emperor and purge all living s#&t out of that depressing fanfic world. And for that i am grateful to you my dear Author. Thank you for your wonderful story and may the Emperor bless and protect You and our beloved Inquisitor. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I read this on a whim. I'm aware of Warhammer 40K (we inherited several White Dwarf magazines back in the day and the Space Marines are several kinds of awesome) but I don't play the game, preferring RPGs to wargames. I had to open the Warhammer wiki for the first chapter or two but didn't have to as the story went on. This is absolute gold. I knew that 40K is meant to have a bit of black humor but this, this is absolutely hilarious. Carrow is terrifying and cool and the poster boy of why the ends should never justify the means but I root for him anyway. It makes sense though, he's a terrible human being BUT that's because he fights things that are even worse. It really hammers home that if he's this bad, it puts to mind how bad the things are that he was built to hunt. Super!Harry fics are fun but they can become boring if Harry just destroys everything in his way. The crackiness of the fic (which isn't as cracky as it could have been...there is solid plot and storytelling here) keeps it from being boring and Carrow has very real limitations that doesn't take away his power but it does keep him from just blowing people off the board. I love his relationship with Hermione and Snape. Carrow as a teacher and his dealings with Dumbledore and Pomphrey are some of the best scenes. And I'm now excessively curious about Madam Pince since she actually thinks Carrow is a decent person (well she is constantly surrounded by books of magic, I daresay she's possibly the most dangerous faculty member in Hogwarts). And I hope when I read the next two fics that Harry gets to meet the Carrows of Wizarding Britain. That would be interesting I think. |
![]() ![]() ![]() carrow would be an awesome teacher, and its interesting to see that the god emperor is rather ambivalent about his loyal servants work |
![]() ![]() ![]() it seems like harry is slacking in his purging of chaos, what kind of inquisitor lets someone with the chaos taint like voldy roam free? |
![]() ![]() ![]() nice job on the wizengamot and parallels with lucius, isnt a vampire the sort of thing that carrow has been trained to destroy though? |
![]() ![]() ![]() if carrow thinks trolls are fun, its only a matter of time before he starts hunting dragons |
![]() ![]() ![]() i wonder how the god emporer will react to news from 40000 years in the future? |
![]() ![]() ![]() this fic earns its humor tag, if lockheart didnt have the whole brainwashing thing happening i wound pity him |
![]() ![]() ![]() im surprised that hermione and ron didnt recognise harry right off the bat, but its interesting to see harry switch between ruthless politiking with fudge and utter bewilderment with his old chums |
