| ccase13 chapter 1 . 10/22/2012
Yes, Jo and Ellen deserved the honor and they would have gone up for sure. They defended people and never lost themselves in the revenge and cruelty of some hunters.

WOW, that last line, fantastic.
This was a wonderful look into Ellen's head, her thoughts of course concerning Jo, just before the two of them met their tragic end. Great use of the word and one amazing drabble :D
| MeAzrael chapter 1 . 8/19/2012
Jeez, I just read the last deadly sad story of Beckydaspatz and thought of the wonderful drabble about the Harvelle's I read and then I was like "WHAT? Is it possible I never reviewed and told Amber how MUCH I loved this?" And here I am, don't know what kept me from writing this as soon as I had read it, probably real life.
Yes. Yes, I can imagine Ellen sitting there, so desperate and scared and furious and sad, and still: so calmly waiting for her way of payback, and I loved the way you wrote this - and the wonderful last line. And Death should better have come himself, though I can imagine that he'd feel a bit... frightened to meet this tough toad of a woman, so he might have sent Tessa instead :-)
Thank you for this - they deserve all the respect they can get, I miss them both!

Very well done and touchingly written

This is wonderful. Great work.
| Twinchy chapter 1 . 8/12/2012
I agree about Death probably paying his respects to Ellen and Jo for their brave sacrefice then and there.
This is a really heart-felt and emotionally taxing drabble, Amber but VERY worth reading! You capture the atmosphere brilliantly in this drabble and the extracts from the poem are truly fitting.
| Edina Clouds chapter 1 . 8/12/2012
yeup - agree with you there, hun. Death would've come for the Hervelles
lovely drabble - and great use of the drabble word
