Loved the first chapter but found this one a bitter pill to swallow given what I found to be an unexpected and heartbreaking break-up. Still a great chapter, but sad.
I have a couple questions I hope you can answer though:
-When Edward determines the distance will be too much for them and says 'You'll be going out to bars in D.C., and guys will be hitting on you and flirting with you and taking you home.' is he saying she'd cheat on him? She later silently agrees with his predictions on where they're headed - to a goodbye. I'm just a little confused on what Edward meant.
-'"Don't write stories about other guys' junk, okay?" His voice is light, teasing, but his eyes are serious.
"I think that was a once-in-a-lifetime article for me," I say, and he smiles.' Was her comment supposed to be a metaphor for him and their love? Or meant to be taken literally?
-I know Bella tells Edward it was impulsive and stupid for her to consider moving to Chicago, but did she continue to research it? Talking to Angela about opportunities and whatnot?
-Is Edward still the record-holder? For size, multiplicity, quality? And was her first shebang really a cleansing of the palette? Did it get better? How about for Edward?

See, this could very well have been just another bouncy little ball of fluff. And while I do love fluff, it's endlessly satisfying to read an author who's not afraid to season the fluff with a bit of plausible difficultly, which is precisely what we've got right here. Like faith of any kind, love is always more interesting when it's been tested for strength and durability; you allowed these two to walk away from one another without violence in order to grow and mature. That painful separation permits them to CHOOSE each other, not in the heat of an hormonal moment, but rather in the cold, unforgiving light of proper adulthood.
You give the reader a lot of sex, but the sex is as much about emotional connection as it is about physical connection, which again makes for a far more satisfying narrative. And in this final chapter, you permit these adults to negotiate a loving solution to a problem virtually all similarly-circumstanced couples face. They are intimate in all ways, and partners in the truest sense of the word. Ultimately, I think that the sexiest connection isn't found in those heady, early days of a relationship. It's found in the way that years later, children later, differences and choices and responsibilities later, two people can still look at one another and not see anything but someone they will never stop wanting.
That's my kind of fluff. I'm still slightly skeeved by Speedos, but that probably says more about me than it does about the swimwear in question. And I'm more than willing to admit that your Edward probably rocks the hell out of them. Thank you for writing!

You have written so much in depth characterization of these 2 lovebirds in 3 chapters than most stories take 25. What a terrific, realistic, sexy, witty story. LOVED every word...I wish there was more. Thank you.
Off to check out your other stories.
