| Jo chapter 30 . 3/20/2017
I am so glad that Daniel got sentence for attempted murder. That's more like it. 40 years total. Now that is justice!
Now that is a happy ending. Well, aside from John's death and Ennis' Dad still being a homophobic
| Jo chapter 24 . 3/20/2017
What? Only twelve months for 2 counts of sexual assault, and giving 2 people a life sentence with the HIV virus? The punishment does not fit the crime. Way too light, 12 years at least. He is out on the street in a year probably go after another victim.

Wooohooo, long last. The 3 words that we never heard from Jack and Ennis from the movie. So glad that they at last admitted this to each other. If only they said it on Brokeback too.
| Jo chapter 5 . 3/19/2017
I like this version of Ennis better than the one in the movie. His self esteem is higher, and he is the one reassuring Jack in regards to their relationship. He says the sweetest thing too.

Love this story :)
| Nevrandil chapter 30 . 12/4/2012
Aw what a lovely ending indeed. I'm see someone saw the Waters ruling.
And I wouldn't want to be a child to such bigoted ignorant parents. What idiots. (((Ennis)))
oh and I finally for the magnetic couple thing.. took me a while :s
thanks for writing and sharing :D

I hate his about Ennis...this giving up if it doesn't time round mentality. Ugh!
Oh Jack :'( glad he was at lureen's...don't even want to think about the other option.
great but sad sad chapter.
| Nevrandil chapter 27 . 12/4/2012
Uhm...well, I'm having a hard time processing this. Whilst I understand Ennis's fear and whilst i can't imagine being in that situation I think Ennis should have thought of that before he made all those promises and declarations to Jack. He sits in Jack's parents house and says he'd marry him in a heartbeat but apparently that's not the case.
No idea how Jack can sit there and take this so easily. I know he said he'd let him go but again, that was before all the promises and declarations.

Also, now I know you said moving in makes it this
iThe pair of them sat down to dinner and started to talk about their day. This was one thing that they were both looking forward to from their life together; to come home and see each other and have dinner together, talking about what they'd done that day/i
is what they've been doing for quite some time now. How's moving in different? Sorry i'm just confused by this.. :(
| Nevrandil chapter 24 . 12/3/2012
Is that for real? 6 months for rape, assault and knowingly infecting someone with HIV? Wow. I remember that in Germany hey give out 3 years for rape on women but I can't verify that or whatever. This is pitiful. *shakeshead* unbelievable.
You get more if you download songs illegaly ducking stupid world :(
| Nevrandil chapter 23 . 12/3/2012
iCertainly has reasons for what he's done.../i
stumbled over this a little. Uhm..can't believe he said that. Yeah, losing your parents at a young age (any age) his hard and Daniel didn't have it east but that does NOT give him reasons to attack and injur anyone. Very thoughtless of Mr Thompson.
and wow...I had to stop reading and take a breather for a bit when I came upon daniel. Didn't think you'd go there, expected the 'i'm sorry For what I've done' etc spiel but not that. Poor (((Jack )))
| Nevrandil chapter 22 . 12/2/2012
Ha, just what I was talking about.. his visit to the AIDS hospice and wanting to do something for others is perfect for a job like that. And now you can call it a job too, hehe.
| Nevrandil chapter 21 . 12/2/2012
Ah, this chapter was less fluffy ;)
also, whilst it's still borderline insulting I like what Jack's parents said about them together. His mum's explanation for his father's reaction was well thought out but would have thought that living so close to a city like New York in 2009/10... one would be a little more 'with the times..maybe that's just me though.
One thing.. I wouldn't call going in for a bloodsperm donation a job but fair enough ;) it's more like a project or a study or whatever. He would certainly have enough time for a full or part time job somewhere else.
aaaaand lastly: they're going to ny to see his parents before his dad dies to spend most of Sunday hanging around ny city... Hmmm ;p
it's all good. :)
| Nevrandil chapter 20 . 12/2/2012
oh how very nice and gracious if Mrs Del Mar to maybe try and accept Jack. Phew. If she was my mother and said that to me I'd tell her to f off and call me when she's learned some manners.
Now, I have to admit something: I don't like fluffy and overly fluffy stuff very much and I gotta say... This story is full of it. I really like the boys, the storyline is different and interesting but all this sweet stuff is making me gag a little. Yes yes, don't read it if you don't like it but as I said above: I like the story just not all this fluff and how they keep repeating the same stuff over and over to each other and in their heads. ;) I hope you can forgive me :s
| Nevrandil chapter 17 . 12/2/2012
iEnnis unabashedly put his arm around Jack, pulling him close as they enjoyed their day. He'd long since stopped caring about people staring at him whenever he was affectionate with Jack; they weren't doing anything illegal and they were never inappropriate in public./i
Hallelujah! Hell yeah! Wooooweeeeee! Yeeehawwwwww! And all that. :D
lovely chapter. Mistletoe, eh? ;p
