What? Only twelve months for 2 counts of sexual assault, and giving 2 people a life sentence with the HIV virus? The punishment does not fit the crime. Way too light, 12 years at least. He is out on the street in a year probably go after another victim.

Wooohooo, long last. The 3 words that we never heard from Jack and Ennis from the movie. So glad that they at last admitted this to each other. If only they said it on Brokeback too.

I like this version of Ennis better than the one in the movie. His self esteem is higher, and he is the one reassuring Jack in regards to their relationship. He says the sweetest thing too.

Uhm...well, I'm having a hard time processing this. Whilst I understand Ennis's fear and whilst i can't imagine being in that situation I think Ennis should have thought of that before he made all those promises and declarations to Jack. He sits in Jack's parents house and says he'd marry him in a heartbeat but apparently that's not the case.

No idea how Jack can sit there and take this so easily. I know he said he'd let him go but again, that was before all the promises and declarations.

also, whilst it's still borderline insulting I like what Jack's parents said about them together. His mum's explanation for his father's reaction was well thought out but would have thought that living so close to a city like New York in 2009/10... one would be a little more 'with the times..maybe that's just me though.

One thing.. I wouldn't call going in for a bloodsperm donation a job but fair enough ;) it's more like a project or a study or whatever. He would certainly have enough time for a full or part time job somewhere else.

aaaaand lastly: they're going to ny to see his parents before his dad dies to spend most of Sunday hanging around ny city... Hmmm ;p

oh how very nice and gracious if Mrs Del Mar to maybe try and accept Jack. Phew. If she was my mother and said that to me I'd tell her to f off and call me when she's learned some manners.

Now, I have to admit something: I don't like fluffy and overly fluffy stuff very much and I gotta say... This story is full of it. I really like the boys, the storyline is different and interesting but all this sweet stuff is making me gag a little. Yes yes, don't read it if you don't like it but as I said above: I like the story just not all this fluff and how they keep repeating the same stuff over and over to each other and in their heads. ;) I hope you can forgive me :s
