| Hannah Lynn McDonald chapter 5 . 9/18/2014
Wow. Talk about a winding story! And ending the polar opposite of the beginning - and so well written!
Thanks for posting this!
| Italian writer chapter 1 . 12/6/2012
Highly credible and well-devised plot. It looks like a true episode!
| MargaretLattany chapter 5 . 9/11/2012
Oh, well done! Bravo! I really was surprised by the twists and turns of this story. Kuryakin's former friends were not at all what they had been. THRUSH is really a nasty bird, turning firends into enemies like that. And the professor, such an unfortunate end...I thought he was going to go for Anton. You did a wonderful job with this.
| Roselight chapter 5 . 9/9/2012
What a surprising conclusion! Your imagination runs wild! Love the brief, believable backstory you gave to the Prof., and his "...obtuse, intellectual investigation" that turned the tide of the story. IK unusually reasonable about the trip to Dr Durbin; nice to have him see the value and admit his need. And the tease of Waverly's tangled past. Hmmmm...
| jkkitty1 chapter 5 . 9/9/2012
Questions as to what really happened, and whose father was he.
| MLaw chapter 5 . 9/9/2012
Very gripping. Poor Illya, to be put into such a position, but to save his best friend, it was a necessity. Would love to be a fly on the wall with the session with Dr. Durbin...
| Roselight chapter 4 . 9/5/2012
This certainly has been a rollercoaster of a mission for IK, not to mention Solo who must feel like he's just along for the ride. What next?
| jkkitty1 chapter 4 . 9/5/2012
Ouch, this is getting very stricky
| MargaretLattany chapter 4 . 9/5/2012
Oh, man! Defecting, are they? Talk about a spanner in the works! Suppose that "something" isn't enough for the guard? Leaving the agemts clueless is not going to go over well with either of them. But,maybe this was the real mission after all, and the professor is a ruse...?
| MargaretLattany chapter 3 . 9/4/2012
Introduce...WHO?! Like Napoleon, I'm clueless here. One the edge of a cliffhanger, no less!
| jkkitty1 chapter 3 . 9/2/2012
Sounds like a really confused situation.
| MLaw chapter 3 . 9/2/2012
Oh now you didn't! This is a great chapter and makes sense the Soviets, being a charter member of UNCLE would expect their man to be protected from THRUSH. She said he wasn't defecting to the west, and now we know he just needs protection. But will he need protection from the Americans as well if they get wind of Rabinovich coming to the west. Hmmmm.
| Roselight chapter 2 . 8/28/2012
What a neat twist: she's with UNCLE! It's easy to see that "assumed superiority" of IK's as a natural part of his personality. Revealing touches of a past association, still nothing overt (yet), just enough to bring a tease with that last line. "Hypnotic" storytellling.
| Michiemabelle chapter 2 . 8/27/2012
I like where this is going. And yes very different to see Illya act a little out of character. Looking forward to your next chapter.
| MargaretLattany chapter 2 . 8/27/2012
Raw, exposed emothions from the Russian, and Napoleon has a front row seat! And Katya is working for UNCLE? Oh, boy!
