Glass Paneling chapter 5 . 3/12/2014 Good story overall. I would however suggest breaking up the large paragraphs; they are somewhat daunting to the eye and too many words clustered so closely together can have a bit of a disorienting and blurring effect. |
Not-Gonna-Update chapter 5 . 3/2/2014 Aww... fanfics like these are always fun to read. Reading about James acting all mushy brings a smile to my face. ( He always acts so confident... cocky, I guess? ) This has been a fun story to read. It was nice... Thank you for the wonderful story and congrats on getting all of your reviews and favorites! |
Yavelee chapter 5 . 2/18/2014 What a nice story, very intense and emptional and to the end kind of rushedalittle with some holes its not all entierly clear for me but thank you, too. :) |

SwimmerGirl0726 chapter 5 . 9/21/2013 Ok, I finally found this fic again and I just have to say again how awesome it is! I could go on for a very long time but its 11:30 at night where I am so I'm super tired and don't have the time before I may or may not pass out:) so yea, its just as good the second time! I still almost cried and I love your way of writin Kirk's emotions and all the officers were awesome:D |
aaaasssssdddddfff chapter 5 . 9/7/2013 Really great story- I especially liked the nerve pinch at the end :) |
NixDucky chapter 4 . 8/22/2013 Elements of this chapter reminded me forcibly of South Africa, where I was born and where I live. As you can imagine, we have many similar memorials here but the one I found myself visualizing was the Hector Peterson Museum/Memorial. It also has memorial walls and a place where one can sit and reflect in front of them. And it also has exhibits with items, letters, videos etc from during and after the Soweto Uprising. And it also has one iconic image, taken by a reporter at the wrong place at the right time, of 3 children. One carrying the wounded one while the third looks on in despair. The wounded Hector Peterson was already dead when the photo was taken though. I never thought a Star Trek fic would bring that to mind! Thanks for making me think and for drawing such poignant parallels between fiction and fact. |
TemporalPhoenix chapter 5 . 8/18/2013 Ahhhhh...dang it! I swear, more and more stories make me all emotional...sheesh... |

middle-earthling chapter 5 . 6/19/2013 AWW! I loved that so much, it was really sad at first, but it got really cute towards the end. |
middle-earthling chapter 4 . 6/19/2013 Oh my god wow. That was amazing. |
middle-earthling chapter 3 . 6/19/2013 THAT IS A CLIFFHANGER. You can't end a chapter there, because you're like, gasping and trying to figure out how the hell Jim's gonna cope and just yeah, but oh my GOD. Amazing. |
