Huh, this chapter took a surprisingly depressing turn there at the end...
But these random words the Potter is thinking of sure do sound familiar :D I wonder if the Doctor is starting to remember who he is. He certainly isn't a failure.

Wow. Another spectacular chapter! Admittedly, it becomes slightly confusing at times, but I think that adds to the charisma of the story. You must be a genius, to know where this is going; it's so complicated, and I love it! I've said this before, and I'll say it again; your characterisation of the Doctor is almost 100% accurate - I don't read many DW fanfics, because I don't like them, but this is an exception to the rule. It's brilliant; keep it up! :)

This story is the most fun I've had in months! You've really captured the essence of manic discovery, in the narrative and on a meta level. I keep running off to Google or the dictionary every paragraph to look up whatever interesting thing Doctor!Harry is rambling about. (Incidentally, if anyone looking at the reviews found the Wikipedia entry for the Banach-Tarski paradox too brain-bending to follow, look up Irregular Webcomic and check the annotations for #2339. Much more comprehensible.)

Heh, did Myrtle mix up Coriopsis with Thanatopsis? I felt clever catching that one, even if I'm sure there are eleventy zillion other little references that went right over my head.

On a scale of Awesome from 1 to 10, this blew right past 11 and nailed a perfect 42. You've managed to capture the manic enthusiasm of the Doctor, stuffed it into a mini-Potter shell, and kept me cackling for the last 20 minutes. My wife has been giving me very odd looks as I read for some reason, can't imagine why. Looking forward to proceeding to chapter 2, thanks for posting this!
