| Rae Kardrinalin chapter 1 . 6/28
I'm not a big slash fan, I admit that. But I loved the Karril angle! People really do overlook him far too much!

Very clever picking up on the fact that Karril was always male in Tarrant's presence. I think Friedman was unconsciously hinting, but whatever. Not ashamed that I did actually tear up a bit with this one. And that surprised me b/c, like you, I'm all about D&G, but this was a very good spin on new possibilities. Thanks for the refreshing tale!

Awwwwww I love Karril (still haven't read it yet! What is wrong with me! I need to find my library card stat!) and I love how you wrote this story so much! I was kind of choked up at the sacrifice part (totally reminded me of the Vanyel/Stephen scene that STILL about kills me) and was cheering at the end xD
You, as per usual, have done a brilliant job! I look forward to more, love!
(also...incase you didn't see it...I have dedicated a one shot for you in the Drabble Box section of my stories, love...I hope you like it :3) Great job!
Your purring fan,
| Herdcat chapter 1 . 9/10/2012
this was really beautiful - this pairing had actually occurred to me - there were a few passages in the books - Karil remarks that he broke all the rules for Tarrant or something - also the fact that both were immortal and took pleasure in the hunt - Karil even says at one point he appears to Gerald in male form for obvious reasons - and being a god of pleasure he would certainly have no hangups about gender - it also makes sense that Gerald would obsess over a feeborn entity - this pairing makes so much more sense to me than the usual Damien/Tarrant stuff - they have so much history together - and the way you wrote it was really poignant - I loved the idea that Karil learnt how to feel other emotions
