| neeniya chapter 24 . 12/1/2023
Ohohoh the moment she said Aesir prisoner I was thinking that is definitely not Volk
| neeniya chapter 23 . 11/17/2023
Awww Loki running to Clint's aid when he thinks he's hurt!
| neeniya chapter 17 . 11/8/2023
️️️️ aaaaa! That whole ending sequence!
| neeniya chapter 14 . 11/5/2023
" witnessing a wolf cry "Huntsman!""- this line kills me. I'm going to tattoo this into my brain it's so good
| neeniya chapter 8 . 11/3/2023
The wolves coming to Loki's aid is breaking me. I can't describe why this makes me want to cry
| neeniya chapter 6 . 11/3/2023
Oh what would the Avengers' reactions be if they learned Loki endured torture to keep their weaknesses safe?
| neeniya chapter 4 . 11/3/2023
Fleeting moment there i thought the mystery warrior was Thor
| neeniya chapter 3 . 11/3/2023
It's like Clint is coming in to try and convince himself he should keep feeling his dark thoughts, i wonder though if seeing Loki like this is chipping away at that resolve and that's why he had to come and see him for himself.
| neeniya chapter 1 . 11/3/2023
Finally reading this! I've had it saved in my open tabs for months now. I've heard so many good things about this
| Nitrate55 chapter 18 . 10/5/2023
Can't stop laughing at the idea of Tony convincing Steve that Inglorious Basterds actually happened and was based on true events. It's so in-character for Tony to do something like that. Absolutely hilarious, phenomenal chapter.
| thereisaredeemer chapter 37 . 4/8/2023
I have so enjoyed this story, dark though it was at times. You bring a new life into the characters and portray them well. I can't help but ask, is the queen his mother?
| Angie2022 chapter 42 . 1/27/2023
I do not know if a comment is meant to tell future readers if the story is worth their time (I always check comments before committing to a story) or if it is to meant to encourage the author..
I did like the story.
BUT the graphic descriptions of torture were way too much for me.
As they were mainly/only? the flashbacks to Lokis time with Thanos and therefore in Italics I simply skipped them.
I can only advise faint hearted readers to skip these parts. Thanos is cruel. That is kinda enough to know.
If the arc of a character demands torture I don't mind, the world is cruel, but I only need mentioned the fact, I just can't read these things. That is maybe only me..
It is really good though if they are possible to hop over because they stand out, like italics.
I DO really really like the story. The slow healing of Loki, the way and pace the individual character warm up to each other is sufficiently slow and believable, some scenes are absolutely wonderful and precious, some are heartbreaking and I did even cry a couple of times.
I would have loved a stronger emphasis on Loki in the future meeting the leader of Jotunheim, for reasons, but that is maybe the only thing I did really miss.
The lost son scene was extraordinarily ooc for Odin for me, but I like Odin being NOT the your-birthright-was-to-die guy, as that is ooc regarding Thor1 for me. Taking him by his shoulders and picking him up saying he loves him would have been sufficient.
I hope this wasn't too long or too negative.
| Lucy chapter 19 . 10/2/2022
I love the lotr/hobbit music. I listen to peter hollens lotr/hobbit soundtrack.
| WannaBeAShapeShifter chapter 15 . 8/30/2022
Wait wait wait. So. He even got raped... basically that's what I read out of this.
But it would be curious, to be desired and "loved" by Thanos, most probably one of the strongest beings in all the Universes.

Hi LadyCharity! I first read Syrgja a decade ago, as it was still in the process of being updated. A lot has changed since then, but this remains one of my favorite works of fiction. It's incredibly emotional and so so well written- I have been chasing the high of my first readthrough ever since :) I don't know where you are now, but I hope you are well, and I want you to know that your creation has affected me deeply and I think about your writing all the time. It's a great comfort to me. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
