Wow, this is a really good story! I don't know if you'll see this review anytime soon but I hope yu continue and soon :-)
| Hekka chapter 11 . 1/7
Eh? The very idea seemed to me quite promising, but your storyline replete with logical holes...
For example, when Lafey took Loki, Thor was twelve years old, but on the coronation, he must be more than a thousand years (according to the movie). But in your fic between these two events took only twenty years... And how Lafey came to the idea that bullying and torture are a way to earn someone's trust? And after that Loki said something about how "his people" need him? The same people that were his tormentors (and doesn't seem to be kept any affection for him - as he didn't kept any for them)?
Or how Loki can continue to love Odin and call himself as his son, after Odin just gave him to Lafey without any explanation or warning? Leave him all alone with "monsters" Asgard taught him to hate and afraid.

Whoa dang o_o That was... abrupt... from a happy excursion of Loki with Thor, Sif and the Warriors 3 (which I am so glad are his friends in this story and don't hold his frost giant heritage against him) to an attack on Asgard by the frost giants... how did they get there, anyway? I thought Loki was the one who could open portals...
Thor's caring for Loki is very sweet, though. And Thor, shy? XD That's a new one! Loved what Loki did to get Thor and Sif on a horse together though lol.
Again though, yikes about this ending... looking forward to seeing what happens next! o_o
(Oh, and I'm so sorry it took me so long to read and review this chapter!)

It's back! Hooray! Great job, keep up the good work. I must say that Loki's last bit has me a little worried, well the whole attack has me worried, but that bit, watching the world burn, scary. Again, job well done.

This is not good on so many different levels of bad...
| Saramagician chapter 18 . 5/8/2014
OMG! Now what will happen? I hope Loki don't do anything reckless -like sacrifying himself to save everyone!- but knowing him, possibly that's exactly what he will do! Update sooon...

Whoa! I just found this story, and I skimmed a few chapters, and very much liked what I saw, then this latest section freaked me out! Please tell me this whole Asgard-being-attacked scene is a dream :(

So... I found this lovely thing while scouring the depths of the archive for a good story.
I found a gem.
And proceeded to read it, come to the end, and find myself in a small depression. It's not over, but the last update was in November last year. Don't know if you're still writing this, but please, I beg if you, do continue if you can. Me and my free time would be greatly indebted to you. This is a truly good story, it would be a shame if it ended there.

With Thor 2 and this chapter I can't deal with my feelings right now...
| I'vebeenLOKI'Dyetagain chapter 17 . 11/3/2013
Odin fell asleep... *snickers* I don't know why that strikes me as funny... possibly because it's like the "Thor" movie sort of, with Odin falling asleep when it's just him and Loki talking... (and also possibly because I'm not all that fond of Odin and have been kind of making fun of him falling asleep whenever he's needed...) At least he feels regret though... Loki may have forgiven him, but I haven't, heh.
Which brings me to Loki, and his not hating Odin and forgiving him long ago, while Thor hasn't. Which I can understand, because Thor's self-centered and thinks the worlds revolve around him, and he loves Loki and wants to protect him but Odin made it so he can't - while Loki long ago lost the notion that the world revolves around him (because all children are kind of self-centered, and gain introspection as they get older, but Loki gained introspection quite early, living in such a harsh and cold and painful reality as Jotunheim) although he knows he's important (as a tool) because he's powerful and the Prince of Jotunheim, he's probably forgiven Odin because he thinks he's not worth it, because he hates himself, and if he hates himself and sees himself as unworthy, he can't hold hatred for Odin for giving him to Laufey. Because while Thor still feels indignation when he doesn't get exactly what he wants, Loki is very, very used to pain and to not getting what he wants, and like Loki was saying Thor acts on his emotions - and though Loki is also very emotional, he had to pretend he wasn't, had to act cold and heartless and try to convince himself he was. I'm not surprised at all that Loki would shield himself from their gazes, so that they couldn't see him suffer, and think him even more pathetic and weak than he thought they probably already did. It's one thing to suffer, and another entirely for everyone to see - and Loki's definitely one to suffer alone, to just take the pain and not let anyone know, because they wouldn't help anyway.
And Loki mentioned going back to Jotunheim? Frankly I'm not surprised, actually. Though to accomplish anything there I'm guessing Laufey will have to be killed. Because Laufey's evil. And Loki of course doesn't feel like he belongs in Asgard, and he's probably come to sort of love Jotunheim in a way - I mean, being there suffering for so long he'd have to find something there to help him through, and of course not all the Frost Giants are bad because no race is entirely evil. I definitely couldn't see Loki just blindly hating the Jotun after living there for so long, and wanting to just stay in Asgard and never go back.
And... yeah XD Eheheh, amazing chapter as always! I can't tell you how excited I was to see you'd updated :D And I must commend you on your ability to write sentimental conversations, and to make them realistic and sweet and not all cheesy or anything :3
Thank you so much for this chapter! I'm looking forward to reading what happens next, whenever you get around to posting ;)
