| Mary-Sue chapter 31 . 3/6
Sweetness! Lovableness! Philip is adorable! Bravo! Brava! Whatever! I really did like this story. It's got a great plot, and while you've turned Ron into something I can honestly despise, instead of being that rather pitiful whiner, this is an amazing story. Actually, I think I prefer despising him over being all pitiful for him. He never did deserve Hermione, and Snape is AWESOME!

Wonderfully written. Almost TOO believably realistic; there was just so much sadness at times it hurt to read and I worried of happy endings. Thankfully (for my poor happily-after craving self) you pulled it off despite the difficult path.
I'm left with a lot of questions as to what happened with supporting cast, but overall I rather enjoyed this piece.
Thanks for writing.

I really enjoyed this story. It was plausible and well researched. I have always questioned what Hermione saw in Ron, so this was a pleasant alternative. I also liked the fact that the romance was tasteful. While I occasionally like to read a story with more graphic relationship scenes, that is not what this story is about, an I am glad you didn't put any hard core stuff into the story. I think it would definitely have detracted from the real story. This one isdefinitely a new favorite.

| Dana chapter 31 . 3/18/2013
Things had fallen into place and created a world where smiling took no effort, and he no longer cared who saw him do it. ***
Thank you for this beautiful ending.

He swiftly kneeled down and pressed a quick kiss to her growing abdomen before he began to whisper to their baby.
"I know that you won't be able to hear me for another nine weeks or so, but I just want you to know that your daddy loves you," he said quietly before running his fingers lightly over her skin.
Softie-Snape :D I love it.

I'm a fool for reading this. Your story reminds me of a very dark times (my husband had cancer too).
I really hope there will be a happy ending for those two.

I usually don't review stories that were finished so long ago but I really enjoyed reading this one. It was truly a beautiful story and very well written and I found myself enjoying it even more just because I could connect on a personal level with a lot of the events.
Cancer runs in my family and has tortured my grandma for many years but she keeps fighting so it made me smile with the direction the plot took. Also, my sister and myself were born prematurely, eight weeks early actually, and we were much smaller than four pounds. I found your response to a guest reviewer amusing because they had such a short sided view of what it is to be born prematurely. Your research into both areas of cancer and premature babies was very well done. And the whole thing with Hermonie lossing all her reproductive organs is something my mom had to go through very resently so all of it was emotionally powerful for me to read and I loved it.
Your take on the characters were wonderful and I literally read through the whole story all day.
I think the only thing that bothered me was Hermonie's and Severus' lack of want to help muggles with cancer but only muggleborens. Though I could see why that wound be difficult on a number of levels so it's not that big of a deal.
But again amazing story and I really loved reading it.

I was with you all the way, even with the slightly pesky/annoying grammar (yeah, I see your username...still doesn't mean you shouldn't at least run spellcheck...). However, this ending was subpar compared to the rest of the story. It doesn't do the rest of your story justice; it kinda ruined a great story and now I'm left with a sense of let down.

I really liked this story. It had a good flow to it and enough tension from a variety of sources to keep me glued. Perhaps my favorite aspect of this story though, was that it contained a lot of happiness despite the undeniably sad theme of cancer woven throughout it. Too many authors write books that are so wracked with conflict as to completely lack anything that actually makes you feel good to read until maybe the final chapter as it is wrapped up with a bow. Reading this, I cried, I laughed, I cried some more, and I finished feeling satisfied. I also read all thirty-one chapters in a single sitting. It wasn't a bad sick day.
