| Rachel chapter 1 . 1/16/2015
very gentle and lovely! you are amazing! i especially like this line: "there is something almost poetic about the pain of losing her." although he knows someday he will lose her, he still try to find a way can help her stay in this time.
| Ruan Chun Xian chapter 1 . 9/19/2012
There is such an aura of sorrow but also resigned acceptance throughout this that I could really imagine Eighth thinking all this. Beautifully written, as always.
"And she melts back into the snow, discarding pieces of him as she goes." This image is so heartbreakingly beautiful that I can't even.

"Here the girl who looks at him with tender recognition and wordless sorrow. Why? He bites his tongue. Why? He tightens his grip."
I like how you used this for a full circle. I really liked his introspecton. Wish there was more, eventhough the impact is definitely more felt when it's this curt.
