You're baaaaack! We've missed you! Thank you for picking this up again (and NR I saw the status update good luck and don't give up!).
I'm so happy to see/read your work again! Thank you so much for continuing this. Your stories really opened up my understanding of writing. I absolutely LOVE Brittany as a character and it took me way to long to realise it was because she ISN'T perfect. The scenes were she's a snark/ditz/klutz or breaking down are where I connect to her and are some of my favourite scenes because I am right there with her in the moment, she is a PERSON with flaws and who grows. It really was a lightbulb moment for me, thank you so much for that. It's changed how I write and will continue to write the characters in my own stories.
On another note, her interactions with Genesis and now hopefully Sephy. GOLD. Sooooo funny.
I really do hope they manage to save Sephiroth but with Cloud the way he is I don't know if that's even possible. Can he see past the monster who hasn't been born yet but who did so much damage? Look how hard a time Brittany is having with that. It's gonna be a long road for Cloud to get there I think.
Also: oh, oh nononononono. They are making more exspheres! *$##$&&*%T oh that is going to hit our girl so hard!
I love how you've given Sephiroth some quirks too, lack of paperwork motivation and boredom are so relatable.
Need some more Zack love too, we want to see our puppy soldier be awesome and fun!

Holy fucking shit. It's been seven years. I've checked your profile for seven years waiting to see if you've updated. Ngl I had given up hope of any of your stories updating (though I'm not blaming you at all based on all your life updates). But this was a treat! Bonus to me, the two stories your continuing are the two I was super interested in too.

I'm gonna go reread this from the beginning before reading the new chapter so it will be a while before I r even again, but wanted to let you know at least one person/one more person is still here after all this time.

I don't even remember when I started reading your stuff. 2014, 2015 maybe? Or what name I went under then lol. But even after all this time I'd have to say your probably my favorite writer I've ever read. No other author/stories I've kept up with after this long. Usually I give up after 6 months to a year of silence.

You know, just when I got the urge to reread your works again you hit me with the surprise update. It is really a treat to get a notification from you! New Reality was one of the first stories I ever read on this site all those years ago and Avert Crisis has been awesome. When you first started writing it I hadn’t even played FF7 and did so so I could understand what was going on lol. Glad to see you writing.
And wow the idea that hojo had enough notes to create new exosphere’s is terrifying. Brit tried to mitigate the damage but it seems like changes are inevitable. And I love that even after all these years her traitor mouth keeps writing checks she can’t cash. Also the image of a human Sephiroth being lonely because most people are terrified of him is kinda sad. I hope Brit musters up some of her experience with Kratos and manages to help him just a little. If I could see anything it would be how Brit compares to the average second class or even Zack. She’s always going up against the sim or Gen that it’s hard to get a read on her power level. I imagine her experience plus being Gen’s student she’s come a long way since Aselia!

Poor Brittany is going to need so much stomach and headache medication for this. Also, Bored Sephiroth is both hilarious and terrifying. Keep sassing him Brittany, it helps!

Also, Cloud is going to be very, very confused by the diverging timeline. Which is its own heap of fun and Fun. I wish our little old fluffball luck.

I fully sympathize with the 20's being madness; I've only gotten into my major writing project at 30 myself.
