Can't stand guy Sebastian. but enjoyed the story thanks :) hard in a dairy format to not end it quickly so I think you did a good job building up to the finale anyway. Evermore now stuck in my head!

Never sure if reviews years after the story was completed are worth it. But thought I'd just say that it's a good story, and I hope there is more of Fred talking coming up! Love the muller dress I think they look like mullets too! (Not so much when worn thankfully!)

Well... Everything worth extending (the romance of Frederick still longing for Anne) just happened in one chapter. That's a shame. I didn't get to know your Frederick. I know so much about Anne but not much insight of Frederick. He came across as someone who is not willing to take a chance even though he still loves. Lucy has been out of the picture, there wasn't any Mr. Elliot to challenge as another suitor, it's just the specter of a broken love affair that is stopping him - but the lady love is still very much available (and obviously gives him a despaired look or two). But still, he does nothing for a long time. So I am asking, does this Frederick love enough?

I bet Frederick remembered everything.. I like that Lucy is still a good friend.

But Frederick has done nothing to encourage Anne.!

What is Frederick's work? Seems like he has a lot of free time.

I sure hope there is a good reason why Frederick is as 'blank' even after this length of being in each others presence.

And still Frederick did not even bother to dance with Anne? I will be so surprised that Frederick is still in love with her coz I just don't see any evidence.

3 cheers for Anne! And yup(!) she does not need Frederick to live. Of course 'want' is another matter. The shy quiet Annie is getting out of her shell. Nice to see.

This is funny. :)

This is good. Anne is looking for a job that's really for her... Can I guess that the company has something to do with Ferderick?

Another twist. Frederick did not choose to devote his time to Anne although there's nothing stopping him. Hmmmm... Why?

Though Anne sounds geeky when she writes, her handling the situation proves her maturity and how the girls respects her. Good break from all her musings.

Spawn of Satan, that was a funny depiction of what Anne thinks Frederick sees her.
I like that the Crofts have children and Anne was quite friendly to them. Even though Anne did not mention it in her , I 'm sure the uncle took note of it and undoubtedly had to convince himself that he was not charmed by the scenario.

What I cant't understand though is why you changed Anne's age. Is it because you still want her to be studying so she can't have a decent job? She could have been 27-28, taking-up her doctorate, writing for a magazine or doing children's books -still not a professional. Coz Anne is supposed to be an old maid (definitely during Jane's time at this age, women were marked on the shelf); 27 is still not an old maid during modern times. She's right about there though, specially if she does not have any prospects. But 25yrs old is still really young and a possiblity of change is still top of mind.
