![]() ![]() ![]() Honestly, sometimes I really want Shirou to die. For idiocy. At least VN has bad endings, where you have to pay for idiotic decisions. And in fanfiction he's just constantly ungodly lucky. |
![]() ![]() ![]() “Archer jaw dropped at the sight of Saber using the broken lamp post as a polearm. How the hell could a girl less than five feet tall casually swing a ten foot steel pole?! She was even stronger than Arthuria.” That’s…really wrong. Under Rin, Artoria has A-ranked Strength, and under everyone else she has had B-rank. Meanwhile, Nero has had a consistent D-ranked Strength every summoning. Cu Alter *does* have the Rune Magecraft skill at B-Rank, I’ll concede that, but you got something wrong. The only way it’s used is by Cu Alter is by automatically using it to use the Runic equivalent of Magic Resistance, and to strengthen his own body. He wouldn’t be going around making Anzus runes. No offense to you, but while you’re able to make a good story, your combat scenes seem to fall somewhat flat because you don’t bother to do research on the characters you’re using for said combat, giving them abilities they otherwise wouldn’t have had. …Warp Spasm? Not Curruid Coinchenn or Gae Bolg? I don’t think we’ve seen Warp Spasm in Fate yet…also, your description of Warp Spasm does to Cu in the myth. I mean, look at this. “The first warp-spasm seized Cúchulainn, and made him into a monstrous thing, hideous and shapeless, unheard of. His shanks and his joints, every knuckle and angle and organ from head to foot, shook like a tree in the flood or a reed in the stream. His body made a furious twist inside his skin, so that his feet and shins switched to the rear and his heels and calves switched to the front... On his head the temple-sinews stretched to the nape of his neck, each mighty, immense, measureless knob as big as the head of a month-old child... he sucked one eye so deep into his head that a wild crane couldn't probe it onto his cheek out of the depths of his skull; the other eye fell out along his cheek. His mouth weirdly distorted: his cheek peeled back from his jaws until the gullet appeared, his lungs and his liver flapped in his mouth and throat, his lower jaw struck the upper a lion-killing blow, and fiery flakes large as a ram's fleece reached his mouth from his throat... The hair of his head twisted like the tangle of a red thornbush stuck in a gap; if a royal apple tree with all its kingly fruit were shaken above him, scarce an apple would reach the ground but each would be spiked on a bristle of his hair as it stood up on his scalp with rage.” |
![]() ![]() ![]() Artoria can be summoned as pretty much anything at this point… |
![]() ![]() I mean... Is Caster wrong? Shirou is still a novice. Just with a different servant, with different servants to fight... So I mean... she ain't wrong. Shirou IS still a novice. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this story. the characterisations are great, the writing is easy to follow even in battle, witty and fun to read. I had a great time reading it and if it ever gets continued, I'll be here to read it |
![]() ![]() ![]() God… it’s been like 8 years since the last update. This story is so… dead. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You know, Shirou knows he is broken, when Rin told him, he said he knew. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Rhongowennan? That sounds like a weird mix of Carnwennan, Arthur’s knife/dagger and Rhongomyniad, Arthur’s lance. Here you go. wiki/Rhongomyniad |
![]() ![]() ![]() Karia Matou doesn’t exist. Kariya Matou DOES. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nero would say "It seems I shall be granting you the privilege of being my Praetor Umu!” Also, Shirou hasn’t awakened his magic circuits yet. He has them locked and atrophied due to cannibalizing his nerves and turning them to magic circuits, and the shock of awakening them should have made him pass out for awhile. There’s also that ritual he has to do with Archer due to the circuits being atrophied. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Imagine not being able to spell name of her spear while writing fanfic xd. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Rhongowennan again...?! It should be RHONGOMYNIAD... Surely... Anyways, it's nice to see Medea and Zouken are getting more involved... Sorta... Wouldn't it be funny if Zouken manages to summon Kama/Mara Sakura-face Assassin? Or if, SOMEHOW, Ishtar/Ereshkigal is summoned using Rin as a catalyst?! How dope is that? Then imagine if Miranda is summoned using Shirou as a catalyst too lol! Dasvidaniya O Author mine and keep up the dastardly diabolical magnificué schadenfreude euphoric work~! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Heh, well that escalated quickly in the end there. That said, I am surprised Shirou's not over analysing allied and enemy Noble Phantasms. He should be able to at least know the basic info on how it works and what each NP is, as well as it's accumulated experiences and knowledge and the skills that go along with it. Like Nero's NP. It's not a Divine Construct as Nero HERSELF, a mere human, constructed it. So then we should be seeing Nero and Shirou both wielding her sword in combat for pincer attacks or at least being able to defend HIMSELF from enemies and/or attacks that get past Saber and head for him. That and he could probably Project it's alternate forms should Nero switch to her other Saber Bride Spirit Origin again for example. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Damnit Shirou! People die when they're killed! Twice you've died... Are you imitating Nero's Invictus Spirit?! But nice to see Invictus Spiritus used to save Nero. Well played. And she was smart enough not to reveal this skill to her enemies when prompted too~! Umu~! I now wanna see her transform back to her Saber Bride form again like she did in an earlier chapter. That would be so cool. However, something doesn't make sense... How did she use a fire Noble Phantasm to "burn" Illya and Arthur WITHOUT unleashing her Reality Marble... Hmm... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Damn... Shirou died twice in s many nights... Damn... I feel bad for Illya too though... This chapter is too deep .. |
