This story is great. You seem to have James Woods channeling through you because you have Hades' character and manner all down to a pat. Excellent. :)

I saw on your profile that some people have been giving you crap about your use of mythology -wait don't delete this!- and I think that's silly. I think you've done a remarkable job of keeping to the core of the myths as much as possible while not discarding the mythos Disney made. You've been clever and well researched and I applaud you. And I have to tell you through out reading this I end up hearing in my head James Woods saying all of Hades (and a good deal of Bremos's) lines, the voice of Catwoman from Batman the Animated Series voicing Bast, and I can't place the actor but I have a definite voice for the flying fire chicken (otherwise known as the Phoenix of Ra) too. You've done a wonderful job giving all of them real personalities, I love your use of Rhea who definitely got the short end of the stick and her wrath being poured out on Zeus and Posidon (Po-Po! XD ) to the point where they're cowering under their chairs.

My only question is (during all this with Cronus and whatnot, where's Herc and Meg with their kids? I mean, I'd be curious to see what Herc's reaction to his fathers utter stupidity is. I mean Herc is a bit slow sure but not stupid. And he tends to listen to any female figure who talks to him so hearing Rhea yell at his Dad really should have made an impact... sorry not to tell you what to do with your characters or story, I'm mostly thinking out loud.

Hades - I wish you many hours of sex with your gorgeous wife, some worm martinis, and the keys to Olympus should you want them considering ruling the cosmos seems to drive everyone who does so absolutely loopy. *Grins*

You had HADES quoting CORDELIA? Word for word no less. I am torn between being supremely amused and scared. The world is not ready for a Hades/Cordelia hybrid. The sarcasm would be off the charts...
