This could lead to an exciting (and amusing) battle.

Sorry 'bout that- I remembered there was something, and I'm easily distracted (as noted). Especially by someone as persistant as Medusa- that was for a writing contest, written in one ten-hour period (so I procrastinate- it certainly helped for starting this lovely fic, which I very much hope to see continued again).

Now that all the unimportant hoopla's over with-

"Errors have been made." There's the Bush administration, right there- Hades, Hades (disappointed tsk-ing sounds- yes, I tsked at you). Couldn't you quote someone more eloquent than the "nucular" Mr. Bush?

A stoned Cronus- not at all the typical image, but I like it. Stoned people are an interesting species. And of course he blame-shifts- he's Hades. And as much as I would like to not take a side- well, I really don't like Zeus. Snotty indeed, and without even a sense of humor to make his speeches bearable.

I love reading stories where the writer knows her mythology. Very few people can tell Hel from Helen, so finding the exceptions is always nice.

Central heating. Of course. If Cronus is stoned, that would have to be the time the Phlegethon caught fire.

And- cliffhanger. I think your muse there- yeah, the one with the flames and the smarmy smirk- has rubbed off on you. Thou hath becomest evil.

Congratulations- but please update soon. Or- hm, how to threaten a girl who can make Hades behave- I'll... um...

Love what you've done with Cronus, the stoner charm is excellent. Plus I love all of the Cerberus moments, present and flashback.

All will be clear next chapter, eh? You've created a gorgeous mixings of Grecian and other myths, and actually left this safe enough for your average fangirl/fanboy with enough jokes for the adult mind to giggle at. This story is amazing, and is something that one doesn't want to stop reading.

I hope you get back to writing, sometime- if only to torture Hades. After all, way back when, darling Seph and Meg mentioned some prophecy that Hades and Jerkules would become good friends... and I can only imagine what you'd do with your wonderful tortured used-car salesman and Wonderboy himself. That's not a plot suggestion (I hope, at least)- that's just idle ramblings based on what you've already said. If you don't like this paragraph- well, feel free to ignore it.

Other than that- wow. My only endeavor in Greek myth was a serious adaptation of Medusa, which changed a couple things about Amphitrite. You've combined mythology, history, pop culture, humor, drama, and enough real-life base to make this story a wonder.

If Disney ever wants a sequel- they know who to call. First, reassemble their 2D animators. Next, get Menken on the phone to get some more music going. Third- look you and and get this story. It reads like a good movie, and you have the dialogue down.

Oh, and Hades- just for you, hun. If you really didn't like the darling authoress, you'd have cut a deal with Atropos a long time ago. Face it. She's given you a wife, kids, a competent helper, a loving mother, and some really good- humor. (Well, I'll keep the review PG.) Just ask her to write more, would you? I know that a big tough god like you wants to see his children wreak havoc- and we all want to see more of her wonderful depiction of Seph.

This story is completely addictive. It makes me very sad to stop here- but I wanted to leave a note to share just how much this story has made me laugh. I do follow Grecian myth. In the original, Persephone (spineless crier) is so happy to be on her way home that she eats the pomegranite seeds Hades offers her. This story is the only version I've ever seen where the girl ever had sense to go with those sulks of hers.

This is also one of the most brilliant stories on the site. There are a few bits of fanfiction out there that just beg to be published- or made into a movie. I'd watch this just as obsessively as I listen to the love song from this movie- "I Won't Say I'm In Love". Besides- I like to see a girl that can keep up with Meg darling. The loves of Seph and Meg's lives are mortal enemies- Seph and Meg as friends just makes it perfect. Excuse my rambling if it's unwelcome- but this is amazing, and I hope you continue to write.

Nice to have you back on the story,Melora. I suppose Baklava is a sort of early Toblerone,but IMO it's a Dentist's worst nightmare, packed with more sugary sweetness than you can shake a stick at.

I had considerable agony suppressing the laughter when I read the climax,viz,Cronus getting stoned.(I'm reading in the office,hence the near cracking of ribs if you must know).

I like the baby additions, and the "Rugrats" type running commentry. Please don't stop now,it's definitely turning out to be the Mother of all fanfics.(or Echidna sized if you like)
