Hmm, I think Merlin should not have apologised; Arthur treated him terribly and he should remember that yet again, Merlin helped take back Camelot and got nothing in return.

Also, everyone was awake when Merlin saved his life because Merlin dropped the chandelier on top of the witch masquerading as Lady Helen, which ended the spell (Uther and Arthur stood up if you remember and when Merlin slowed everything and everyone down, you can see Uther reaching towards Arthur as though to push him out of the way but Merlin got there first).

And Arthur should remember that he has done lots of things wrong, including massacring Druids on several occasions: one which he apologised for (to the Druid boy who possessed Elyan) and the other when he attacked a Druid village looking for Morgana, which he doesn’t seem to remember happening. Is he forgetting how he has often brought war and strife to Camelot for not believing Merlin but other people instead? Has he forgotten how he elevated commoners to be knights but left Merlin as a servant, despite Merlin being one of the few that took back Camelot (again).

This is wonderful. So tense! I know that the actual reveal will probably be super dramatic, virus wish it could be like this, just a tense, sad moment between them.

Would you consider turning this into a series based on what happens between Arthur and Merlin after this chapter? As in: how Arthur deals with knowing Merlin has magic? This chapter was so well written and I really would like to know your perspective on what would happen next!
