What the hell? Have you ever watched Stargate? There is absolutely no way that any Stargate personnel would simply open fire on any race without being fired upon first. They sure as hell would not simply assume that the shuttles where boarding craft either. A shot across the bow would have sent the message to the shuttles well enough.

good update, by the way will the Tauri still made that their more advance tech use the gene to be activate, because if the can made a gene therapy to made normal people to have it, it will made sense to keep using that system to protect their new tech.

The Tau'ri does have Teleportation Technology and may I suggest you make jack O’Neill the supreme commander of the Tau’ri fleet and if you don’t think he would be any good he has to be better than general Landry still think jack should have been on the last episode:(

Although this is a pretty good start to a story and an interesting premise I feel that your first contact is very poor. It makes no sense and smells of a deus ex machina type encounter. Grammatically this chapter is very solid and an excellent exam
