okay, this is my first time reading this, but i already have an argument.

a reality marble is not something that you just lose or abandon. it does not matter if you undergo a fundamental change like abandoning ones ideals. the reality marble is the manifestation of a personal world from within ones own soul.

Unlimited blade works is the source, and the repository of shirou's ability to trace. it is where EVERY weapon he summons comes from.

now, i agree that he cannot access archer EMIYA's UBW. that goes without saying. but i feel that as a campione, with the integration o the arm into his body? this would INFLUENCE his reality marble.

Shirou still has his own UBW. the only things that would change are parts of his Aria, and the form of his inner world.

abandoning his ideals would not strip him of his Reality marble. once you have one? you have one. it is a permanent aspect of your being. immutable, but not unchangeable.

by abandoning his ideals as a hero of justice to save sakura? he has changed something within himself. thus changing his aria, and the shape of his inner world. but it is STILL Unlimited Blade Works.

if anything, depending on how mutable/immutable the fabric of reality is in Campione, manifesting and maintaining UBW could be easier, or harder. it could also have lasting consequences.

i would view it as a divine domain, or a [Godly Territory]. by manifesting his reality marble, he is manifesting his own divine domain. a realm where he has absolute authority. like the Underworld for Hades, or Olympus for Zeus. within this territory, Shirou is just A god but THE god. it is the literal manifestation of his perfect Kingdom.

and yes, each god he kills WILL have an impact on UBW. not necessarily the aria, but the world itself.

because UBW is so integral to Shirous very existence? it will always remain UBW. only its shape will change. such as a possible citadel appearing, or the servants he is able to call upon dwelling within his inner world when not in use.

so yeah. not disagreeing with the fic, merely the assumption on him no longer possessing a reality marble. he does. he just needs to learn about his new self enough to summon it.

Rhongomyniad is to much its not only just as powerful as Excalibur it has perks that just make it better and besides them being perfect isn’t dependent on his magical energy it’s dependent on how much he knows about it he cant gain everything from just a glance or a look at a weapon

Shirou shouldnt be able to prefectly replicate Excalibur no matter what its meant to be for Saber and Saber only thats the literal point Alcides(Archer/avenger Hercules) from Strange/Fake can steal noble phantasm and not just steal but actually usurp ownership he’s even able to steal EA something like that(at least to my knowledge) is the only way Excalibur can be used by someone else perfectly

I think it's necessary to give my own opinion, especially in view of the often ignorant negative reviews. This story has its flaws. That's a fact. Length is as much an advantage as it is a disadvantage, especially when it causes the story and the characters to stagnate, when a number of things could have been more concise, particularly the fighting, in my opinion. That doesn't stop it being one of the best stories I've read on this site. Not the best, but certainly in my top 10. This story is funny, sad, frustrating, exciting and so much more. The universe, while adapted to work, remains relatively consistent with itself. The characters are lively, despite their flaws, and it's easy enough to sympathise with them, while feeling amused by their illusions and misunderstandings. To criticise or validate every detail would take too long, so to sum up: Ignore the idiots, it's a good story and if you ever decide to come back, I'd be happy to read the sequel. Thanks for the story.
