I would simply like to point out that an SI where you suddenly throw them into the thick of it without giving them time to adapt just feels kind of awkward to read for me personally.

Honestly, I can't call your hero too weak and can not know anything. His successes are pretty good. But, I really annoy me that he was postponed at the beginning of the fourth year without any substantial assistance, except the minimum. And the fact that he can find a few spells without a stick, until he loses consciousness, does not make it good. I will read some more chapters, but so far it's not my cup of tea. HM.

Absolutely heartbreaking ending. I’d have liked a happier one but I suppose not every story can have a happy ending. I really did want the Hermione/Will ship to sail, and it’s kinda depressing that he basically planned for his eventual disappearance or death and didn’t allow himself the chance to live.

Ask the room for money. Surely, surely, students have lost a veritable fortunes worth of money over the years. If you can’t specify money, you could always sell stuff from the room of lost things.
