| Daryl Wor chapter 1 . 7/5
Yes, Osheen. Julia deserves all the happiness. Let's just dismiss Barnabas' needs entirely. Julia is the only person on Dark Shadows who matters. Of course, makes total sense. :/

Sweet and tender and delightful! I definitely prefer the Sam Hall, "Julia and Barnabas get together" version of the characters' post-show trajectories, to any other ideas of who Barnabas should end up with. Versions in which Barnabas & Angelique finally find happiness together are just too weird, after all the hating her he's been doing over the centuries! And Josette and all the Josette-alikes, bless their hearts, are just too insipid. Definitely, Julia is the woman for Barnabas. She darned well deserves some happiness, after all the crap she's gone through for him!

Yay! love it

Ahh that was lovely. I'm intrigued by the plot and wouldn't mind seeing more, but I like the open-ended format.
There aren't enough Barnabas/Julia fics out there. I really enjoyed it.

This is one of my favorite lines:
The Old House stared back at her, a relic of the past, antique and tired, shrouded with shadows.
And this one as well:
It was a plea for help, and the you I know would never refuse a plea."
You did very well in capturing a sense of urgency and mystery and Barnabas's frantic despair as he thought he had lost Julia.
I do agree, Dark Shadows is a lot better than some of the vampire shows on TV these days.
