I know I left a review pretty recently but eh, who's counting? I just binged this entire fic again with my group of friends in the little Prototype discord of ours. These last few chapters were also so painful to read- Alex holding himself back, Cain trying desperately to keep herself alive from all angles... the escape! Him helping her up and being a piggyback ride! Their bind I'd whack as hell but they really care for each other and this whole ordeal only strengthed that, I think.

If and when this fic returns, I can't wait for the triumphant return to the New Vegas area... and if course Veronica and all those questions. I imagine Christine would come along with them? Might stop the whole kill on sight order. Though perhaps they should pass through friend territory first so Alex can be back in top form...

I really hope this comes back someday. I think I said it before, the first time I left a reciew here, that this was one of the best and one of my most beloved fics I've ever had the pleasure of reading. So .. thanks for that, even if it never returns.

Amazing story, absolutely fantastic. I don't know if you will see this but I really hope you don't totally abandon this story; I really want to read more of this world you've created. Anyways I hope to see an update in the future.

Not sure if you're still here or of the fic is still active, but I've heard some things... like FFN might be closing soon. I'd hate for this fic to be lost on a dying website. Have you considered moving it to Ao3? I know people would love if there.

Regardless, this is still one of my most favorite fics I've ever read and I hope I can continue to read more someday whenever you come back.

Man I'll keep waiting, I can't wait for you to do Old World Blues- possibly...maybe. I mean, Alex is techinically brainless, so...he's effected by the pacification field AND the barrier? Hmm, I don't know.

If she goes a certain route, which I suspect she will, and takes out the floaty fucks later, I love the idea of Alex, still under the effects of pacification, plays defense because he can't engage.

Might be more a case of "why would you sell such a based weapon" deal. He values heavy weaponry, like rocketlaunchers and flamethrowers, because they can do what he can't.

So to him, the deal was shit.
