| Estoma chapter 1 . 11/13/2013
This is a very interesting piece, Johanna. I don't think I've read anything about the Capitol children before, in so much detail. You pick three interesting characters to follow, showing a range of attitudes, and it's really heartbreaking.
Using a similar set up for the first and last paragraphs gives it a good, strong ending and it certainly works for me.
[The Capital] 'The Capitol'
[under what seems like a blanket of people] I love this description.
[nurses then enter the seen] 'scene', not 'seen'.

This was very well written Johanna
It was artistic and eloquent, and I quite enjoyed the repeated adjectives, as well as the switching 'POV's' of a sort.
It was a mature, intelligently written read, so thank you!

Wow...this was deep. And sad. Amazing, though.
