This was awesome! Read the whole thing in one sitting, I loved how it moved between the flashbacks and the case... and how John and Sherlock buy Latham Hall in the end, it really tied everything together. :)

That was a cool ghost story; the idea of Harold being the killer occured to me early on, shortly follow ed by the idea that it was because of love.
I felt so sad for John, seeing ghosts, having those feelings...
I think that the saddest part of all, is that even in death/the afterlife, Harold still couldn't, tell Reginald how he felt.
You made me cry at the end there.

Absolutely loved this story! Beautifully written!

This is awesome, an excellently written good and proper spine-tillingly ghost/mystery story. There were times i had actual goosebumps and had to look away into the 'safety' and 'reality' of my room (didnt help i was reading this in the dead of night, purely by coincidence you understand). Really well done! Also liked the slow reveal in the past and the little clues in the present, John being the one to solve it (why did the ghost only seem to appear to him or was he just always in the right place ad right time?), John hiding it from Sherlock in case of appearing mad, which he had reason to believe anyway, but also in hiding that other secret. Very much enjoyed what time you spent in Sherloc's pov, it helped show his attitude in this and gave this fic that extra boost. While you haven't written it, I'm assuming John does tell Sherlock of his experiences in that house? I was hoping Sherlock would discover the truth of it all though I admit i was expecting John to reveal it but i suppose he have to see the ghost to believe it huh. Anyway, even there at the end, just when i think the scare factors over we get 2 ghosts semi-appearing for Johns camera...aand cue shivers all over again :p lol Excellent ending, excellent use of other materials (like that Gilgamesh passage), beautiful interactions, lots of suspense, angst, fluff and well everything else really...LOVED it! I'm gonna be reading this again and again in the future *_*

Wow! What a deeply moving story! I could feel Harold's pain as well as John and Sherlock's. It's so sad that Harold could never say anything, and Reggie never did figure it out, even after death. But I like the thought of Sherlock and John spending their golden years there.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story! I look forward to reading more from you.

That was beautiful but now I want to smack my head against a wall because Harold is going to have to spend eternity being in love with Reggie and Eleanor being in love together without him and I just aahgdsvsbkfnadfnlnnnnnnnooo

Wondeful story! So many sweet moments and very exciting plot!
| Raxacoricofallapatorian17 chapter 11 . 11/29/2012
The Johnlock ending was sweet and I love it, but the Reggie and Harry ending is bittersweet. I think the story was absolutely brilliant, and, except for the ghosts, very realistic. You're a talented writer, and I'd love to read more by you! Amazing work!

OH MY GOSH, WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! I can't... oh my gosh... Harry! - Ok, I'm done freaking out. Anyways, I really love this story! You wrote it amazingly well! Most people just write stories about Sherlock and John in 221B instead of bothering to think up cases for them, and when they do think up cases, they're usually dull and/or stupid. This case, though it has a ghost murderer, is interesting, original, and quite singular in many aspects. Even though the ghost detracts from the realness of the story, it's still written so well, I can't even be deplored by it! I usually would scoff at a work featuring a ghost, but I actually really think this story is fantastic!

FEELS. EVERYWHERE. That chapter was so sweet! Not just the Sherlock and John part, but the bit with Reggie and Harry too :D Inwasn't sure about the ghost/Harry/the murderer/the green-glowy person's intentions before, because I wasn't sure how sinister tey were. Assuming it is, indeed, Harry, he just wants Latham Hall to stay with the Stewarts. AWWW! Of course, I am assuming it's Harry without TRULY knowing, but if it is, awww! If it's not... well, now I'm even more curious.

AHHHH! SHERLOCK! I really want to go to Chapter 7, but first I have to tell you... I love this story! It's very interesting, and I think the idea is very unique. I love how the story flashes back and forth, and that the story is set so long after the Fall. I like the idea of them still together, solving crimes, with a bond as strong as ever, after all this time. Overall, I love the story and think it's very intriguing :D Great job!
