| Darkover chapter 1 . 10/24/2012
Dear Linda: Who would have thought a nightshirt could be an icebreaker? This was an amusing story, with good dialogue and even better description. I did find myself wondering if Lothiriel was aware that she was going to have to see her husband unclothed *sometime,* and some brides even look forward to such an event! But this story was entertaining and well-written as usual. Sincerely, Darkover

Aw, this is lovely. I really liked the idea that there is a resemblance between Lothiriel and Arwen and that Eomer appreciates it - good use o that small canon scene with him and Gimly arguing about Galadriel. Also, the custom with the horn is well thought out. As for the slapstick, ahhhh...

LOVE this. I too think of it as a love-match, but the idea of a political one works just as well.
Thank you for posting this.

"It looks like a dress!" Éomer exclaimed" LOL!
I loved this story-it was very cute! The nightshirt gaffe saved what was looking like a pretty unpromising wedding night!
Thanks for the shout-out too ;)

LOL, this one is funny! I have a feeling that Lothiriel will end up getting used to nightshirts being left in the drawers!

Although to my mind they were a love match and not a political one I respect your right Linda to have a differing opinion and it does lend itself to a new plot. :) Eomer has my sympathies for being required to wear a nightshirt, they have never appeared very manly to me either. Hopefully the nightshirt can be weaned off as Lothiriel grows more accustomed to him. :)
