| Bragi151 chapter 3 . 4/15
An interesting, and most certainly provocative, combination of comic lore and movie verse. Good Job and Good Luck in your future works!
| SarahKnight chapter 3 . 4/1
I have been trying to figure out why this story is so compelling, as there is no big threat to overcome or anything big like that plot-wise. I've come to the conclusion that it's the way you've written it, and the characters, their slowly developing friendships, shown not just their interactions but through small touches like the poster Tony puts up in Steve's apartment, the fact Steve keeps hanging out in the kitchen. Such a sloooow burn, nothing concrete about sexuality until something like 25000 words in and it was still indirect and made complete sense, not jarring at all because it put across why it hadn't been mentioned previously and why it was being mentioned now, all whilst seeming totally natural. And I think the fact you've made such subtle character plots so compelling really shows some skill.
Your writing style is excellent, it reminds me of the snappy pace and humorous tone of Tony Stark's dialogue in the films, and you keep it up consistently throughout, with pretty much every line ranging from good to awesome. Excellent combination of serious, thoughtful themes and story with witty (but not OTT funny) language.
The dialogue was also great - the characters don't say exactly what they mean (except Steve sometimes, which seems in-character) but it's still clear how they feel (far superior to them actually *saying* how they feel), often there's more than one conversation going on at once, there's realistic contradiction (like Tony arguing different viewpoints about Fury's use of Coulson's cards). Jarvis was particularly fantastic - just as good, maybe even better, than the films, with the comedy, but all the character voices were great.
On the topic of 'showing' not 'telling', you do it beautifully. Like the two moments where Tony thinks 'no one else needs to know'. Lovely.
"Experience points out that those two clauses may be mutually exclusive."; "…That's refreshingly straightforward"; "he'd also shaken hands with Justin Hammer" and so many other good lines. LOL.
Only suggestion for improvement is that I wasn't too keen on the dream sequence or the stuff in Mallen's brain - being taken out of the 'reality' of the story is less interesting than the reality. Plus I would've preferred it ending with something more chaste, but I know that's just personal preference and the porn-epilogue is a popular fanfic convention, so fair enough - the excellent dialogue got me through it anyway. Also, one typo: Tthis.
However, just in case I haven't already put this across, and even though I don't actually do Tony/Steve, this story is AMAZING. You need to write some original fiction and get an agent (literary, not SHIELD). Or just keep writing fanfic for fun. Whichever. :)

Too much awesome for words. Brilliant story, believable characters and a hilarious sense of humor. Two thumbs up!
| Fi Suki Saki chapter 3 . 6/12/2013
The ending was so unexpexted for me...
This fic almost hard for me to catch up at every sci-fi part. But the rest, I can reach It... huff
Read this fic make me couldn't think the others thing, consciously or not, I am concentrating at reading this fic. Because it's Sci-fi! And it's so rare for me to read sci-fi fiction!
Actually I didn't even realised that this fic has Sci-Fi genre, until I read chapter 2... *peace*
Anyway... This fic is Great!
The relationshio between Tony and Steve was nice! That's why I kind of surprised with the ending...

That was not what I was expecting but I can honestly say I loved every minute of it. Your writing style is fantastic and you really kept everyone in character. I only wish there was more!

And that epilogue... Perfection :p

| Kirara-Elfkin chapter 1 . 1/23/2013
Very good, there really aren't enough fics dealing with extremis, though looking at the trailer for Ironman 3 I'm guessing it'll feature quite prominently.
| Rubes99 chapter 1 . 1/10/2013
Awesome story. Loved the start and middle especially. Not so hot on the end, but whatever. I'm thinking you probably should have put this into a few chapters, but that doesn't really matter. It might just make it easier to remember where you're up to if you have to go away in the middle of reading it. (Like I did. Bad idea. Seriously, it was VERY hard to find where I was up to)
| ReaderoftheBooks chapter 1 . 1/7/2013
One word. Ah-ma-zing.
| Wolfjackle chapter 1 . 1/5/2013
Wow, this was a lot of fun. I liked how the story played out, and now that I've stayed up far too late reading this, it's time to go to bed.
Thanks for writing!
| Guest chapter 1 . 11/30/2012
God damnit. Now I'm a SteveTony fan. I wasn't before but now? Yeah. I'll never be able to look at them the same o/o
I would like to read more please. Your characterizations are perfect even for side characters and one fantastically long fic is simply not enough.
| SarissaDiablo chapter 1 . 11/18/2012
*cackles madly* Oh holy hell do I love your Tony! He is such a smartass, and feels, and, and...awesome!
I really, really want to see more Extremis Tony. I have always loved the stories where he is more then human, be it enhanced or a god.
Have I said I loved it? Because I do. XD
| H chapter 1 . 11/11/2012
