Oh, good one, I'm sure that this is how Sam must have felt and thought. There really was no one around, he didn't know what happened to Dean and Cas, if they even survived...that's the only thing I wonder about, did Sam grieve at all for Dean, did he think he was gone for good or did he just figure Dean was around somewhere and he couldn't get to him? (I haven't watched yesterday's episode, so it's possible all my questions are answered, lol)

What I don't buy is: why would he trust what Crowley had said? Just assume that there was no way to find Dean? And what about Sherriff Mills? or Garth? or that hunter guy they saved with the daughter in Adventures in Babysitting? The hunting network Bobby had set up? I mean Sam had a list of Bobby's contacts, didn't he?
Very nice drabble; it was moving and very emotional. It's not your fault I'm not so happy with the direction the writers have taken.
