...This was beautiful, and lovely. I have no words. I love it. Maybe you could write a continuing part, from Anne's father's perspective, or from Henry's? After Anne left. I think it'd be interesting and a wonderful change of history. It was beautiful!

I'm guessing England becomes a Catholic nation under Mary and then ruled by Mary of Scots, or maybe Philip II of Spain ends up controlling it anyway, after all Mary of Scots like Elizabeth was tolerant but not ruthless, if there was a majority of Protestants there, there'd be a rebellion to get rid of the Queen maybe or Philip might not be happy with how things are going there and plan the Armada to invade. Will Walter Raliegh and Francis Bacon still be notorious even without Elizabeth, I wonder if William Cecil would still be a famous administrator, it was he who played a great part in restoring England's economy, what about Francis Walsingham, England's first spymaster? A lot of what if's if the Elizabethan Era was not Elizabethan but something else would it still be The Golden Age?
Mary of Scots was too French and her marriage with King Francis of France would make England France's property.
Philip would turn England into a backwater to tax for his wars.
Honestly the idea not being Queen even if she does end up happy makes me shudder because everything great about English and their impact on the world would disappear. Instead of American, we'd probably be French, or Spanish!

I love it, just not the part of that f..king French king that I always hated but it is fair I think she had to be free

i like it and i didnt...
it was well written it wasnt sloppy at all...
i just think anne was a fighter not a runner...
she wanted the power, the statute, the attention..
cant see her sitting back and being a nobody and a mistress...
either way well done, you have a wonderful writing flare...
wish u luck in your writing and till next time.

That was. Sacrifice for happiness. However much of an oxymoron that may sound like. She may not have lived on the edge of a golden world, but I think it was still a better alternative than the scaffolds. Gives me mixed feelings about how things went, excellent writing, but I can't help to feel slightly detached by how it was written, there wasn't much soul. .. if you could catch my drift. Anyhow, hope the blot bunnies never stop coming, keep on writing! You have a flair for it! (Obviously. ... )

This is truly beautiful. You should be proud. Very strange to think something like this could have actually happened.
| Nessiexo chapter 1 . 7/17/2013
Wow, this is beautiful. It's unique and I loved it. I liked imagining Anne laughing and being happy, and Elizabeth getting married. This was a pleasure to read! Keep writing :)
| Penelope Clemence chapter 1 . 6/5/2013
I am new on the fandom. It is one of the best short stories here.
It is a very interesting view on Anne's life. I didn't expect her to become Francis's mistress. I think Francois loved her because he offered to marry him despite her doubtful past. I doubt that she could get rid of her baby because Anne was too religious for it. I liked that she didn't come back to Henry. OH! Nice story!
