| HappyHappy Sunny Chan chapter 1 . 1/22
This is a very smart way to start a fic. I'm really impressed , it was so interesting to read. I can't wait to read the rest!
| raka chapter 17 . 1/11
nice story... The first I read where Harry Potter is not the main character.
By the way, I might have missed it in some of your Author Notes in the previous chapters, but is Harry Potter going to make an appearance at all, or is it just Draco in Magical Soviet Destopia and Harry Potter is truly dead and six feet under.?
| Aya Diefair chapter 17 . 12/31/2013
Astoria, mind always somewhere else. Though I never considered her to be obsessed in getting married and everything that is attached to it, I was hoping she would appear more happy rather then passive. They may not know each other very well, but I suppose that can be resolved after the initial wedding. Draco seems more eager on the idea, and I think that is sort of sweet.
I think my favorite part in this chapter was Draco speaking to Mr. Greengrass. You can see he loves his daughters deeply, and was very serious in his reasoning. I liked how you captured the fatherly side and natural adoration to his girls.
I am very much interested in seeing what is going to take place in this meeting. :)

Thanks for the update! I love this :)) Astoria is a mystery...
| Deborah chapter 16 . 12/2/2013
I've loved reading the chapters you've written so far and can't wait for more. What a very interesting story with well written characters. I am sooo curious to find out what will happen next so please don't wait long to put more up!

I quite enjoyed this chapter. Your descriptions in Theo's book are well thought out and well put together to reflect Voldemorts views on everything.
I can't help but feel for the little guy, though. He is slowly getting brain washed, as is the rest of the world. Those who resist are punished or killed. I really like the pace this is going, I really like slow developing plots.
I shall patiently await the next chapter. :)

Love it :))

You know, some weeks ago I had written such an elaborate review of this chapter, but then it somehow got deleted before I could post it and I was too lazy to write it again, as I am now.
The general ideas was:
I loved the way you wrote the conversation with his mother - you go, Draco!
I love how you are turning this into the magical World War II slash Cold War. You must be a pretty skilled writter to pull that off and you sure are pulling it off.
And I love the male Rita Skeeter ;D
Guuuuuuurl, do update. Please!

OMG, I just LOVE this new chapter :))
| Aya Diefair chapter 15 . 9/18/2013
What a caring way to break the request gently to your mother, Draco. I don't think it would've gone much better if you dressed it up, then the message may have been lost amongst it.
I love how you wrote Narcissa in that scene. She spoke so crisply, yet not in the same manner as she would've addressed someone else saying it. Though her cold departure and sour attitude about it is understandable, she just wants to feel needed and stable in her role to the family, and her expenses reflect her care for them. Aww, she needs a hug.
Such a lovely chapter all in all. There is some amazing character development going on, and the descriptions used for the environments are so good. Loved this chapter. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.

I'm SO GLAD you finally updated! And it made my day that you've mentioned me in the AN :)
Great chapter as always. I imagine it must not be easy to pull off and anti-utopian story but you are managing it brillaintly. The story has some killer character development. And it has everything a great read should have - the style, the intriguing characters, the interesting plotline, those little moments that make the reader rejoice... For example for me such a moment was when Draco struck the deal with Madam Selwyn. And I love how you write the change in Draco's views - it's not happening too fast and it's not out of character.
Also, Draco and Astroria. They are so adorable.

What a nice long chapter! Certainly had my fill after the wait. Though a lot of mundane things occurred, I felt that it provided a lot of perspective on what is going on in Draco's life. Astoria and Draco seem to be on the right foot in developing their relationship, and find it super cute that she is starting to be a distraction to Draco in his thoughts. I like how slow they are taking it, where in the beginning it seemed like they were going to really hate each other.
I hope we get to see a little bit of Draco and Teddy's bonding time, I like to think Draco would play an older brother to him of sorts. And you have got to love Narcissa and her luxurious shopping habits. The woman has high tastes in fashion, heaven forbid she can't be seen wearing the same frock twice in the same month! Oh I love her. She is not going to find Draco's request to cut back on these things very easily, though I am sure she will understand.
Good chapter, I anticipate patiently for the next one!
