To be honest I don't usually ship these two (not because I'm against incest or anything, I just don't read enough of these two), but you've made me love them! This was beautifully written, the structure of it just makes the story flow well :)
| mycatisgossipgirl chapter 1 . 7/1/2014
So amazing, I love how you wrote the traveling and the final part of the story, the idea of a new beginning despite the past they leave behind.
Just I'm fangirling a bit to be honest haha

I love this pairing so much, and more people need to love them too. This was really beautiful.

Nooooo... It's so horrible, and beautiful and sooo well-written ! I love you. Really. All your texts are pure wonder.
| Chocolate Sky chapter 1 . 2/15/2014
Amazingly wonderful! I wonder how Ginny and Harry reacted when they found out. I hope you write more stories like this!
| Bloodredfirefly chapter 1 . 5/5/2013
Oh, wow. Oh wow wow wow. This is amazing - so sweet, so sensitive, so strong and emotional. It's such a happy ending but sort of bittersweet, like you can't help just wishing that they could have lived in an accepting world. Brilliant:-) I love it.

I've never really liked to read Incest, but this was beautifully written. Happy Writing:)

I wrote a James/Lily French fic years ago, I think it was the only one on this site back then. Feels weird to read this pairing.
Anyway, very well-written.

This was so bittersweet, I loved it!
| sydneysages chapter 1 . 1/20/2013
Ellie, this is absolutely beautiful, I now ship this.
It's indescribable how lovely your words flow to create the scene of Lily and James and their running away, and I thought it was a brilliant way to separate the sections into where they run to. Things such as their appearance changing and the descriptions of that were genius, and honestly, I don't think I've read something as beautiful as this (and in so few words) in a long, long time. The actual storyline, of them running away and then their parents attempting to find them (I really liked that bit when Harry arrived in Paris, and they were gone by the afternoon) then the baby and how they settled somewhere without magic was stunning.
Honestly, Ellie, your writing is breathtaking (magical, almost) and there is absolutely nothing negative that anyone could say about this!
| allisonarrgent chapter 1 . 12/7/2012
PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT ahhhh that's you that's your writing that's this fic and just everything can I just? Perfect. I don't even know how to start. Sorry for taking such a while to review this!
The established relationship from the beginning really got to me because it was so smooth and effortless and it felt so right, you know? And even though I'm in love with the build up (especially with incest, holla at your girl because I'm not even sorry) I think the fact that Lily and James were already together and you didn't give too many hints of their backstory/history really worked and set the tone for the fic, and of course it's you and your writing is always so so SO stunning, so to be honest you could've written about practically anything and it would've been equally as flawless as this piece.
I simply ADORED all the cities and changed identities and hiding from their parents and all the questions because not only was it tragically beautiful to picture them running away like that, but I felt like through everything, they still stayed James and Lily in the way you characterized them and there was something so gorgeous about how much they loved each other, because obviously it drove them to sacrifice their home and find a new life for themselves and eventually they settled down and the baby the BABY why would you do this to me?! I have too many feelings for these two, far too many feelings to be healthy at all ughhhh stop the ride I want off.
And can I just talk about the last line because wOW I AM THREE THOUSAND PERCENT DONE. Angst is my favorite but that promise of a happy ending was absolutely amazing and I think you're one of the few people who could have pulled it off and god, can you save some perfection for the rest of us please? I cannot thank you enough for writing this for me because it was beyond brilliant, and I'm not just saying that because you're my one and only, I'm saying it because you deserve it and I can't wait for you to be published one day because it's going to happen, I guarantee it. I love you so much. xxx

Oh wow this was amazing and now I ship incest. Oh well it's worth it :)
| Rose Tylers chapter 1 . 12/5/2012
I just... I just... wow. Your writing is just so beautiful and poetic and lovely. And the dialogue is so natural and the characterization is just wow and all the perfect bittersweet moments... I'm terribly jealous of you. Incest isn't really my thing, but you write it so beautifully that I don't mind that it's incest
| TamariChan chapter 1 . 11/28/2012
So beautiful. Your prose is wonderful and your dialogue is natural and your characters are so vivid they're blinding. I'm such a fan-girl of your work.
This line was one of my favorites: ""A baby, James," she sobs, and he just keeps kissing, keeps pulling, like silence will turn the situation inside-out."
| Against the Evening Sky chapter 1 . 11/15/2012
God, this was beautiful.
