| YoreReader chapter 10 . 1/23
What a perfect ending!
Saying goodbye to Danny was a must for Annie. She needed to move forward with Auggie. There's nothing wrong with keeping mementos of him, though. She'll remember him because he'll always be a part of her.
But Auggie is her present and her future. It's time.
Thank you for sharing this story. I enjoyed it tremendously.
| YoreReader chapter 9 . 1/23
They're back together! I am so happy I think I'm about to swoon.
| YoreReader chapter 8 . 1/23
Dang, I thought Annie was a goner. Well, I guess she still might be if that Abbas guy finds her. But Auggie got to her first, haha! He's not going to let her go now, that's for sure. I hope they get that bad guy. Otherwise, Annie will never be safe.
| YoreReader chapter 7 . 1/23
Oh man! I knew it! I jinxed them, didn't I?
Where is Annie? Is she okay? How are they going to find her if Auggie's tracker's been destroyed?
I'm going to place my faith in Auggie. He sounded sure that he's going to be able to get her back. Go get her, Auggie!
| YoreReader chapter 6 . 1/23
What a pleasant surprise! I didn't quite expect that. But I love it. I love that Annie was calm and collected about Auggie's seeming betrayal. I suppose their connection is even deeper than I thought.
Would it be presumptuous of me to celebrate right now? You're not going to pull the rug from right under me, maybe? ;p
| YoreReader chapter 5 . 1/23
Oh gosh, this is tearing me apart! How can I enjoy their connection right now knowing there's bound to be a fallout later? If there's not, I'm probably going to faint dead away from happiness.
| YoreReader chapter 4 . 1/23
Ooh, things are getting complicated. Or should I say, more complicated? When things get emotional, things tend to get messy. I hope these two are ready for whatever's happening between them.
| YoreReader chapter 3 . 1/23
Why? Auggie asked Annie to lay her cards on the table. And this is what he's doing? He should just tell her. This is not going to end good. I hope it does. I hope I can trust them to work out their differences. But things are too new, too fragile. I'm scared.
| YoreReader chapter 2 . 1/23
They're forging a deeper connection, it seems. But with Joan requesting he cultivate Annie as an asset, will this derail it even before it's begun? I think I agree with Auggie, he should read her in. She doesn't trust many people and I think honesty is going to work better for their relationship.
| YoreReader chapter 1 . 1/23
This story is fresh and interesting. I like the different take on Auggie and Annie's meeting. But I like that some similarities remain.
Auggie's life is about to change and he'll need to adjust with it. Annie's life has changed and she's closed off because of it. By their mere presence in each other's lives, they're about to experience change again.
I'm glad Annie is in Auggie's life right now.

Great ending. You handled the "letting go" really well. And, of course, I love the engagement and wedding.
