Yay! I'm so excited this story is not abandoned, it is one of my favorite Harry Potter Sherlock fanfics. I'm really excited to see where this goes :) I guess Harry was only partly right about the murder living on that street, as the motorcycle boyfriend doesn't live there (does he?). I also have to wonder if Johns observations about Harry and Sherlocks similarities was a bit of foreshadowing, or simply an observation. Either direction would be fine, I think, just so long as the sorry is continued so I can find out (don't leave me in suspense!) I also really want to know what will happen to Harry now. Will he go into care? Or will he go with Sherlock and John? How will Dumbledore, who openly supported Harry's living situation, deal with all this? Will he find a way to cover it all up, or will he face retribution?
One thing I didn't like was how you addressed Dudley. Remember, although an annoying, cruel, and spoiled little boy, he is exactly that- a 12 year old boy. The police wouldn't be arresting him and accusing him of being a culprit like his parents. He would be restrained if he was causing problems, and eventually put into the care of a relative (such as Aunt Marge). Not that I like Dudley, but at age 12 he can hardly be charged with the same level of crime as his parents. You could look into laws about bullying or juvenile delinquency in Britian though, maybe he could be charged with something like that.

Oh! And I also saw what you did with the development of the murderer's methods, giving it different stages, intentional or not, I think you have succeeded where many have failed in creating a very believable insane homicidal maniac who has well thought out back story with the evidence of abuse you described. I've read several that have crashed and burned in the attempt, while this on par with an actual book. I hope that you keep writing this, as it is one of my favourite cross overs. I can't wait to see how deal with Sherlock and the subject of magic.

I've figured it out, nice work though leading Sherlock away with the abusive boyfriend, even though we know he's not the unsub. I can't wait to see the outcome of the next chapter.

Nice twist. It's not the husband but the new boyfriend. I've got a bad feeling that the girl might very well be next since she knows who he is. No wonder Harry couldn't finger him. He'd probably never seen the boyfriend before.
