That was just beautiful and heartbreaking. I almost cried. I could see it playing out that way too. Excellent piece.

I am surprised they didnt kill Frank!
| Lunary chapter 1 . 6/8/2014
I had to resist hard but I had tears in my eyes while reading this.
It would be something Frank would do to get rid of Hawkeye I guess.
It's sad to think that it would be a reason for a dishonorably discharge but I still that being homosexual is a taboo still for many parts of the social life.
Sad but true.
I kind of whish there would be a sequel to this story, where B.J. manages to get back and look him up, and where they stay in contact which each other over the time before B.J. manage to leave Korea as well or a sequel where Hawk get's send back because maybe of Sidney because with him going they loose the best surgeon they had.
| Ella Dean Pendragon chapter 1 . 9/6/2013
Wow! I've recently been rewatching the show so I have been getting back into the fanfiction side. This was so heart breaking, living in a time now when DADT doesn't exist anymore it makes me sad to think of a time it did. So beautiful.
| Miss Voltara chapter 1 . 5/23/2013
Lovely story although it tears at your hearts strings to see Hawkeye and BJ like that. Damn you Burns. Very well written. Well done!

| samanddianefan10 chapter 1 . 11/16/2012
How sad for everyone here, including Frank who could never understand
This was taken in a different direction than any of your other stories _and I loved every word
I hope you have more up your sleeve _yoir writing is sorely missed when you don't post
| running-still85 chapter 1 . 11/13/2012
Thank you so much for the story. Your writing is superb as always. I read it yesterday and am reading it again today. It got me how Hawkeye put himself on the line for B.J.
