This makes a lot of sense. Harry is prone to trust anyone who is kind to him; of such are 'Lost Boys made.
| Jannafrancine chapter 2 . 1/15/2013
This makes me wish that Sirius and James were able to see Severus memories and truly understand who they tormented. I think if James and Sirius hadn't been so quick to judge that they and Severus may have been cordial or at least nonconfrontational towards each other.
| duj chapter 1 . 1/6/2013
Your summary follows Harry's comment at the end of HBP, but Harry was comprehensively wrong (as usual). Snape started spying for Dumbledore *before* Voldemort was defeated the first time. Dumbledore said so in GoF, and Snape's memories in DH confirm it.
| Gabi1994 chapter 2 . 12/20/2012
hmmm... I like this take on Snape, his hate for Harry never made much sense, given how harshly practical he is. Snape wouldn't bother holding onto a childhood grudge that long.
