| Lorelei'sDream chapter 47 . 2/25
An incredible piece of work. I really mean that. I saw the recs on the forum about it and thought I'd see, and I don't even think I can do this story justice no matter how I try to express my thoughts. There were so many many times in the story that I was near tears, on the edge of my seat, holding my breath or even over-joyed to see the brothers' outwit their opponent. The real magic, the bow of the Huntress, you managed to make even Krissy likeable! The main points were:
- I loved the background you gave to the brothers, making complete sense of the emotional insanity that went on and correcting every single out-of-character moment. The season never explained Sam's abnormal rages, his apparent forgetting of Jessica, or any of a thousand things, and you didn't forget to address one of them!
- I loved the depth of the mythology you added to each and every episode, making the stories not only believable but actually scientific and plausible in most of the cases, and true to the original mythology in others. And I even had a fangirl moment when Zeus thought Dean was Hercules, that was pure magic!
- I really loved the way, at all times and in all ways, you gave back the Winchesters their characters, the expertise and smarts and skills that have been taken away from them over the last 4 years of the series.
I am going start Disposable Heroes right now, I have the feeling I'm gonna love it the same way and for the same reasons! Thank you!

lol... oh that was awe-inspiring! I loved the change to the world into reality and how both Dean and Sam handled it and themselves. Just wonderful!
| Lorelei'sDream chapter 21 . 2/24
I just had to say that while I've seen the whole series, and more than once, you have brought back things from the earliest episodes and right the way through that have given a much more in-depth insight into the characters, into their feelings and their motivations for doing what they do, especially now when everything is so busted up between them.
| Lorelei'sDream chapter 13 . 2/24
Yes! Better and better. My only wish is that the episodes had played this way, I'd be really enjoying the season if they had.
| Lorelei'sDream chapter 12 . 2/24
Oh. Wow. Okay, thank you. The entire Garth thing almost stopped me from watching this season. I couldn't believe it. You really have put Dean back in character and given him the come-back he needed to get clear with Garth and for himself. Bravo.
| Lorelei'sDream chapter 9 . 2/24
This is great. I started reading and I can't stop. There wasn't much in the season that seemed retrievable to me when I watched it, but you've really found a way to make what was there interesting and to add so much more to the characters and the plot and all the supporting characters that each "episode" is now much more understandable, more believable and a lot more entertaining. I've gone from dreading each to looking forward to them.

Yep, this is definitely how the show should have gone. If I didn't know any better, I'd think you new Sam and Dean personally. You write them pretty damn close to perfect.
| Izzy chapter 2 . 12/4/2013
I think you mean November, 2012 instead of 2011? Haha. You're writing Sam the way he should be written - strong, putting other's wellbeing before his own, damaged bug not a whiny bitch about it, and above all, willing to do anything for his brother. Something the SPN writers are becoming more and more blind to. This is really great writing.

Feedback for Chapter 1:
Your writing is really good. No typos (as far as I could see) and it's great to see how much you understand Sam's character and personality, shown through his thoughts and emotions. Also, unlike the writers of SPN, you show how hard Sam is trying and what he has to do. Great job!

What a labour of love this must have been! This story is going to be season 8 for me, the way I wish it'd been. Dean and Sam both learn so much through this, even Cas learns a lot about himself and his relationship with the Winchesters, and every character was deeper and stronger and a lot more interesting from your viewpoint than they were in the shown episodes. Are you going to do the same for season 9? Great writing, great imagination and amazing insight into Dean and Sam. Love it!

The dialogue and the characterisation in these two chapters was just perfect, and the detail was amazing. I just can't believe the difference between the episodes and this story. The changes really aren't that big, just well-thought-out and well-written and completely engaging. I'm almost sorry to be so close to the end, I could definitely keep reading this for a long, long time.

There was a potential in this episode that was horribly overlooked but you've brought it out here, made it clean and clear and perfect. I loved the conversation of Metatron here, whereas I hated the pompous self-congratulatory dialogue that Edlund produced. I loved the memories of Sam, and his realisation that they would all revolve around Dean because Dean had been there, the whole way through. Loved Kevin's realisation that he was being tricked and every description of every moment that brought this to vivid, immediate life. Fantastic job - again!

Fantastic job. I liked everything you did with this story, the explanations and the insights into each of the characters, it all just became a lot more than what was possible to be shown in the episode. I was very happy to see the holes filled in for the canon as well. Great work!

I thought this episode was completely irredeemable, but I was wrong. It's a bit bizarre to see what an incredible difference some knowledge of characters, logic and skill in writing dialogue can make. You kept everything worth keeping, added plausability and explanation, without TELLING the reader, and gave me an insight into Dean's mind - and Sam's - that I didn't think was possible. Excellent.

I loved this. I really did love this. Getting rid of the stupid dialogue and Victor's suicide, the brothers cleaning up and talking about the life, you've added beautifully characterised dialogue, real logic, and enough of the behind-the-scenes conversations to make it all incredibly real and believable. I want to see the actors playing these scenes so bad! Another fantastic job on an episode that fell flat in the season, but shines here.
