Heero: Guys! Guess what I found in the basement.

Duo: What did you find?

Heero: It's pretty heavy, but I had to use the freight elevator to get it up here.

Quatre: A cryogenics pod?

Trowa: The date indicator says "February 25, 2983".

Wufei: Let's get this thing open!

(Date indicator goes blank, pod opens)

Heero: That was quick.

?: What time is it?

Trowa: February 25, 2983!

?: How old am I?

Quatre: We need your name first.

?: Joe Orsini.

Duo: You're 1,000 years old.

Joe: Who are you guys?

Heero: I'm Heero Yuy.

Duo: The name's Duo Maxwell.

Trowa: Trowa Barton; nice to meet you.

Quatre: Quatre Reberba Winner.

Wufei: Wufei Chang; good to see you.

Joe: Now that I'm still alive after all these years, let's celebrate my birthday with some pizza and a 2-liter bottle of Mountain Dew!

(December 25, 2983)

Joe: Let's see what we got for Christmas 2983!

Heero: I'll go first.

(Heero opens his gift)

Heero: An MP3 player; now I can store some music files on this thing and play them wherever I go.

Duo: I'm next!

(Duo opens his gift)

Duo: A laptop computer!

Trowa: I'll open mine next.

(Trowa opens his gift)

Trowa: A CD case! Where are my CDs at? I'm tired of them getting scratched!

(Joe clears his throat)

Joe: That's where your second gift comes in.

(Trowa opens the second gift)

Trowa: These are the exact same CDs I got off the internet on my birthday.

Quatre: Let's see what I got!

(Quatre opens his gift)

Quatre: A scale-model statue of Sandrock! Thanks, Joe!

Joe: Even though it took me several weeks to get it finished, I had to get every last detail.

Wufei: Okay. Let's see what I got from Santa.

(Wufei opens his gift)

Wufei: A photo of the 2015 New England Patriots.

Joe: Tom Brady's holding the Lombardi Trophy.

Heero: Let's see what you got, Joe!

(Joe opens his gift)

Joe: A Nintendo 64!

(Joe opens his second gift)

Joe: N64 sports games!

(Joe opens his third gift)

Joe: Four controllers!

(Joe opens his fourth gift)

Joe: 20 Controller Paks to save game data on!

Duo: The console has an Expansion Pak in place of the annoying Jumper Pak, an Audio-Video cable, and a Power Pak that snaps firmly into the back of the console.

it's great. Can't wait for the larger project. I always love a dose of unrequited love on 01 part as long as they get together in the end. And the only reason i picked this up because you put heero yuy in character (even there's 6x2 in summary) that assured me of 1x2. I kind of find myself fall in love with heero pov fic. So yes, can't wait for the full blown plot (and heart ache)
