| Laura Dove chapter 4 . 11/23/2012
I love this story, although ! find the ending a bit too convenient. Instead of meeting the "real Overlord" in a temporal limbo, the Doctor and his friends could have succeeded in going back in time to when the Temple of the Kings was constructed in an attempt to prevent the portal from ever being activated (the destruction of the space-time continuum could have propagated "slowly" from the future to the past), and they could have met the Overlord then. As it is, the Overlord intervention looks a bit like a deus ex machina.
Still, great story!

Hi Keith! Great chapter my friend! I liked Torrin and Sequar - typical Doctor Who baddies that you love to hate! Taking the particles from the Eye of Harmony, putting the Doctors universe at risk but not caring less about that - charming indeed!
I like how Jade always seems to help the Doctor by asking questions, then solving his problems, quite innocently not knowing what she said! A good attempt by the Doctor to stop Torrin and Sequar but it made sense that the future Gallifrey had disappeard due to their meddling.
Enter Penvar! And he saves the day, returning the Doctor to his own time and stopping the baddies in the process, great job! So the Overlords did exist after all! A really enjoyable little story, Keithy, thanks xxxx.

So the 'Overlords' are fakes? Sneaky! That poor old boy, Raydn, doesn't know what he's letting himself in for! And just who are Torrin and Sequar exactly and why do they get to get across the gateway?
Good to see the Doctor working it out about the strangers but he did try to warn Raydn! It'll be interesting to find out what these two want and how the Doctor will try and stop them. Looking forward to the outcome! Nice little story, Keith xxxx.

Another good chapter, Keith! An interesting idea to have this story set on Gallirey, it reminds me of the tv stories like 'The Deadly Assasin' and 'The Five Doctors' which were set there. I'm still imagining Jon Pertwee here! I can really hear his voice in this chapter.
Savin sounds like a right character but I'm glad he didn't go against the Doctor any further or hinder his progress in finging thd Eye of Destiny once he realised that the Overlords wouldn't send anyone into the catacombs of the Kings and is going to work with the Doctor to find out who the 'Overlords' actually are. Nicely written xxxx.

Hi Keith, well another Doctor Who story from you! You're on a roll! Nice to see this old story of yours finally uploaded though.
I liked how you captured the Doctor's humour, knowing that Jade was scowling at him, even though he was hidden underneath the Tardis console!
Interesting idea with the Overlords but who are the time travellers that are set to invade Gallifrey? I may have an inkling!
Nicely written, my friend xxxx
